Got 2 pairs of dress shoes for my father: a regular leather and crocodile.
Mr. Sumit is truly a master of his craft, as he did a great job making them look great and took extra care that the shoes not only fit perfectly and feel very comfortable but also gave them the anti-slip pads at the bottom so the are safe to walk on all surfaces.
Will definitely be returning to him again soon for all our future custom made shoes from now on.

a real manufacturer and not a reseller.
quality of the skins used and very high quality manufacturing work.
We bought two crocodile bags six years ago which haven't changed at all and are absolutely splendid and went back to have a custom made clutch (in three days). this one is magnificent.
leather goods of quality equivalent to large French houses such as Hermes.
finishes, leatherwork, dyes, everything is exceptional.
very professional in his advice and attentive in our desires.
the boss speaks good English which makes communication easier.
can custom manufacture all products and ships to Europe, but have not tested yet.
a real good address if you are looking for high quality products.

I am now the proud owner of my first ever pair of made-to-measure hand made shoes!
I am so pleased with my purchase. They are wonderfully comfortable and very good looking.
The servive here is tremendous. I went along for my visit and explained what I wanted. They took all my measurements and made a mould of my feet. A week later I was back for my fitting and they were ready a few days later.
For the first time in my life in work I have had colleagues compliment my work shoes!
I would highly recommend you go and see them. From the service, to the quality to the price, they can't be faulted.

I have just bought a pair of custom made shoes from Mr Chong. I am absolutely thrilled with them. Thank you Mr Chong for the time you took over discussing the design and material it was a pleasure meeting and doing business with an A1 craftsman. I will definitely by back for more.

Want a good deal on exotic and cow leathers? Go to Siam Leather Goods and buy off the shelf from a great selection of products in the store; he will deal with you. Want something custom made? Top of the line craftsmanship with proportionate prices. Easy to find and great location on the river. We enjoyed our time in the store conversing and dealing with the owner, Chung.

Inside River City Complex there is a shop at nr 140 ground floor where you can by handmade shoes, wallets, bags etc.
The owner is in this business for 50 years and is now 65 years old but still has the enthousiasm of a 15 year old.
He has real knowledge of quality and takes all the time. Als for exotic leathers as crocodile, snake, etc
I would highly recommend going there if you want shoes tailored to your needs!

Of all the stores my husband and I visited on our one week stay in Bangkok, this one is the best one. The owner greeted us immediately when we walked in. We spotted a men’s crocodile wallet we wanted. The owner took the time to explain all the different types of leather to us.
We left the store because we were about to board our boat for our dinner cruise. While we waited outside at the pier, we found out we had a little more time to shop, so we went back inside to the store.
The owner was friendly and was willing to make a deal. Needless to say, we bought the wallet. The wallet is very made. The stitching and details of it are of very high quality. It will be very durable with the fine craftsmanship behind it.
We did not get the owner’s name, but we would like to thank him.

I've been to Thailand 6 times, and always have custom clothing made. Back in the US, my now-husband with 11EEEE wide feet was frustrated at a lack of decent (i.e., fashionable, non-geriatric) shoes for his size.
When i googled for custom shoes, Siam Leather Goods popped up, and despite the rather sketchy-seeming website, knowing that this is a legit company with an actual retail shop and real people behind it, we decided to place an order.
This was 2010 - 8 years ago. The shoes arrived, and they were beautiful - we provided photos of a Hugo Boss bicycle toe dress shoe and ordered it in brown calf leather. He put them on barefoot, and they were so soft he didn't need to wear socks with them, though of course he did wear them sometimes too.
The finish was impeccable. Unfortunately, one foot didn't fit quite right on one side at the toe box. They weren't too tight, he just felt the way they curved would bother him or rub as he walked. No questions asked, they said "send them back". THEY REMADE THE ENTIRE PAIR OF SHOES AGAIN, NO CHARGE.
All in, in 2010, full custom shoes plus a one-time fee to make the last (which can now be re-used indefinitely to order new shoes) was <$400, including $75 insured shipping from Thailand.
When we took them to be re-soled the first time, to a cobbler who has been repairing shoes in the Washington, DC area for 50 years, he asked where we got them. Said they were "the best-quality custom shoes he'd seen in years", and proceeded to tell us about the stitching they used, and especially the German "oak-tanned" soles - literally, leather that's tanned in the ground with oak leaves, old-old school style, and which were considered the highest-grade available. He said these were much better made than most designer shoes he sees, and on par with any pair of US or European made dress shoes he's seen.
We wrote them an effusive note of thanks, and they wrote back very kindly and even gave us a 10% off code for a new order.
