We went here during the morning using Bangkok tours to transport us too and back from our hotel, the market is all along the railway track with more shops, prices are same as the other markets within Bangkok, you need to always offer less than they ask!!

Generally, each item is in the range of 100-300 Baht. I did not find any bargaining happening there, but the goods are really inexpensive. Another place where you can buy really cheap is Indra Place/Plaza during the day. The whole place is air conditioned. Bargain to your heart's content here. Here you get a large variety of things viz clothing, accessories, show pieces, traditional Thai items, etc, etc
