2021年3月に訪問したときは品数が多く、買いたい物'シャツ、小物入れ、スカーフ等)で安価な物が多数あったのですが、今回2年ぶりに訪問した所、品数がだいぶ減ってました。残念ながら何も購入せずにお店を後にしました。場所はバンチャクBang Chak駅から徒歩5分ほどで行けます。

I love the quality of Jim Thompson’s fabrics. I highly recommend a visit to his home, tour the house, watch them spin the silk from worms and eat at the restaurant. However his prices are out of my budget, so in the past when visiting Bangkok I would go to his outlet store. This year I was disappointed to find the prices had doubled and the selection had halved. 🫤 I strongly advise you don’t waste your time or money going there.

This has always been my "must go to" place in Bangkok pre-Pandemic. Shopping is still good here because their products are timeless in style and excellent quality. However, the range and variety of products have been greatly reduced. I didn't buy as much as I did before but you can still get good buys.

It's been over 3 years since my last visit.
As others have mentioned, the store's selection of fine fabrics is their strong point. The only change I noticed was a smaller array of men's clothes and accessories to choose from. While stylish shirts can cost over 3000 baht, not a bargain in my view.

アウトレットがあることを知り、今回こちらへ行くのも旅の目的の１つでした。駅からも近いので行きやすいです。写真のクッションは20x30cm位の小さな枕のようですが、１つ1200円程度。男性用シャツやズボンも結構置いてあります。サイズが合えばお買得かな。

OF course they also sell clothes, scarves, bags and household things, but the real big collection is the fabrics which are over a ouple of floors in this 5 floor outlet. It is easy to find and only about 5 minutes walk from the BTS, and I am sure that I will come back here to buy more things!

サイズや気に入った柄がないことが良くあります。でも、行かないと手に入らないし。。。Bang Chak駅から歩いてSoi93から200Ｍぐらいでしょかね。1階は絹の布地。３階は、絹のシャツやズボン。4階が一般のもの。5階が、レストランです。毎回タイに来るたびによります。安いですから～

「え？ここなの」という感じの建屋と入り口で、さらに1階は生地売り場でビビりますが、上の階に行くと良い感じになります。ジムトンプソンの家に比べて、半額～1/3ぐらいの値段になっているような気がします。ここに来る価値はあると思います。

My wife likes your shop's stylish goods : especially cat pattern and elephant pattern T-shirts . And , so am I .
And when we get to Bangkok , we look forward to buy those .
But on this visit at the end of July , Including the shop on Surawong Rd, we could hardly obtain those.
Isn't that a basic pattern and standard product you always prepare ?
Did the policy change?
We want know .
Because we'll be Bangkok at the end of this year

I think so too. "Timing is all". Especially after the bargain period there are not so good products. Also I think that compared to the past, products are not substantial in the whole.
I have visited this store three times in the past, but I think if I visit in July. Good luck!

No - and the house on the khlong fabrics aren’t there either. The selection is mainly knock-knacks (purses, etc) and end of run fabrics + left overs from projects they have undertaken. The catalogue fabrics can be found here only if discontinued or not selling well elsewhere.

Unfortunately they have chosen to start selling this knock knack more also in the factory outlet. The patterns and colours might not be up-to-date - those that are left unsold in stores are brought here and sold at discounted prices.

No chiffon or other whispy fabric. Emphasis on silk with some other fabrics included. They are famous for their silk which is why you go to Thompson.
