Trust the negative reviews. Don’t go here. Do not trust the positive reviews as they bribe customers with free beer in exchange for a good review. I’ve been to a few karaoke bars in Bangkok. This is by far the worst experience I have had. They charge a cover fee to enter the bar and sing (which is not a problem as it’s only 80 baht). This cover fee is supposed to come with snacks however the bartender deliberately did not give it to us. We sang a total of 3 songs before the staff started to deliberately remove the songs that I requested without any explanation. Then they pretended to not know why my songs weren’t playing. After several attempts, I realized what was happening and decided to leave. I’ve read other reviews from people that stated they experienced the same poor treatment. Apparently the staff starts to remove your songs if you’re not spending enough in their eyes. Which is ridiculous! I purchased 4 drinks within a few minutes of each other and still had this happen to me. The vibes were really off with the service staff. The staff gives off greedy/ bad minded vibes. They don’t feel welcoming or even happy to have you there. They’re clearly ONLY interested in your money and not in giving customers a great experience. The only good thing about the bar are the customers who come there. The staff and their behavior will make you walk away feeling terrible. I’m usually a big tipper. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I always try to order drinks anyway and usually leave a huge tip for the service staff. This was the only establishment I visited that made me want to not tip the service people.

The first negative experience I had here was where they have a tendency to give out to microphones so that you have one of the regulars trying to sing over you. Not a fan of that.
My second extremely negative and most recent experience was when a random female customer allegedly tried to pin her bill on me. One of the staff tried to accuse me of openly saying I would pay for her bill which I never have. Not a big fan of people saying I said something when I never have. When subsequently it turned out that she had paid her bill after all no apology was ever done after publicly humiliating me. This place can burn in hell for all I care.

I popped in for one beer while I was waiting for a friend and was charged an eighty thb service fee, which was supposed to be for free karaoke and snacks, which I did not indulge in and the waitress was insistent the charge remain. Eighty baht is not a lot of money however, to pay to just sit at a bar seems unfair. Anyways give this bar a pass

店が狭い。日本の場末のバーの感じ。でも値段はバンコクでは高い。
日本語が通じる以外に何のメリットも無い。
現地の日本人長期滞在者のたまり場。現地採用とかなら良いが、外籠りの質の悪い日本人もちらほら。

ここの系列全てにいえることですが、兎にも角にも、我が物顔で居座っている常連がうざいです。黙ってればそうでもないのでしょうが、カオサンあたりで旅自慢しているおっさんを想起させる感じで、一見で行くと不快になるレヴェルです。連れとカラオケのある店舗に行くとそれなり。オーナーは賛否両論あり、好きか嫌いかは置いといて、異国で頑張る同年代として応援はしています。

ビールや夜遊びに飽きてきたときや ちょっとアルコール度数の強いお酒を飲みたいときに良いお店です。日本人のお客が多いので落ち着けるのですが、海外にいることは体感しにくいです。ウィスキーがもう少し安ければ嬉しいと思います。

My girlfriend and I had a really fun night in here however we were scammed which was a real disappointing end to the night.
We had been to a few bars prior, were rather merry and looking forward to a fun night singing tunes and making ourselves look like idiots (as you do at a karaoke bar). I'd heard good reports about Woodball so this is where we ventured.
Upon entry I paid 2000 THB for a bottle of cheap white wine (as expected) and partied the evening away with the very friendly Japanese customers that were also in the bar downstairs with us. It was great fun until the end when the bill came again. The bar staff tried to make me pay for the wine again, on top of the few extra drinks we'd had. My girlfriend and I explained several times that we had already paid for the wine upon entry and then the bar staff started to get aggressive. Security/door staff surrounded us and they demanded we pay. We tried to explain again and again that we had already paid for the wine, advised they check the security camera and that we were happy to pay for the remainder of the drinks but not the wine. Yet again, the bar staff and security staff demanded payment. The security staff started surrounding me and making threatening actions, as if to say "if you don't pay you will have a lot further problems". I've lived in Bangkok for 4 years and know what this means so in the end, rather than get a kick-in over 2000 THB, I paid it and we left. What a disappointing end to a really fun night. Yes we was drunk but the two of us knew what we were doing and knew for sure that our original wine bill had been paid. To be threatened by what seemed to be friendly staff was a real let down and rather scary for my girlfriend at the time.
I would highly recommend you avoid this place. There's plenty more Karaoke bars in Bangkok. Either that or make sure you keep your eyes on your bill at all times and make sure you photo/video record when you pay for anything in here.

It located right next to BTS Thonglor. Outside look quite dirty like a scum wall spray paint all over the walls.
They had quite a few choices of single malt Whisky though.
