The Best in Bangkok

As a local resident, I have gone to these gents for about 10 years and had two suits and many shirts tailored by their shop. This city is filled with tailor shops that claim to offer 'the best' in terms of quality, service, price, etc, but it isn't always the case (often a scam for tourists). The guys at A Moda, however, really do provide superb, quality tailoring, using only the best fabric available. All of the shirts and suits they've done for me have stayed in great condition despite years of daily wear. I've recommended A Moda to a number of friends who live in Bangkok and others who are just visiting and they have been very pleased as well. In my experience the craftsmanship, service and fairness in costs available here get no better in BKK and as a longterm local I highly recommend their shop for your garment needs.

Knowledgeable Tailors

During a group trip to Thailand, my roommate and I heard about this shop from some of the other guys that were ordering custom suits as epic souvenirs. We decided to tag along for their fitting to see what it was about and were impressed enough with the shop that we joined in.

I wear a suit a few times a week, but have always bought off the rack. I won't do that anymore. Having a suit made to measure is incredibly luxurious and in Thailand, incredibly priced. The two brothers that run the shop were quick, professional, knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and helped us find exactly what we needed. The shop is small, but there are a dizzying array of materials to choose from, all high quality. The tailoring details on the suit/shirt I brought home show that this is a well made suit compared to some in my closet. My only regret from the experience is that I didn't get an additional suit(s) and many more shirts.

Phenomenal quality, great price, extremely quick and professional

This was my second time to have a suit/shirts made with Amoda (first was June 2014), and I'm reminded why I came back. Both of my visits I worked with Pramoth, and he is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The attention to detail is second to none. Pricing is as good as you'll find in the area, and as high-quality, custom clothing goes, some of the lowest priced in the world. My girlfriend also had a suit made, and she said it's the best one she owns; I feel the same about mine. They had it all done in a matter of about 36 hours, but it could have been done quicker had we needed it sooner. Will continue to patron Amoda for shirts when I visit in the future.

mon fils avait acheté des chemises à cet homme et en était content, il a donc commandé pour 200€ de chemises qu'on devait lui envoyer en France. Un an plus tard il n'a toujours rien reçu et ce, malgré différents échanges de mails, par contre l'argent a bien été encaissé.

I was in Bangkok on a work trip. I was told that I needed to get a custom tailored suit. Based on my short time there, I didn’t think it would be possible. I stopped in to A Moda on Saturday about noon. I told them I was leaving Monday morning at 3 am to fly home. They told me that they would be able to make a suit, but based on my availability, I couldn’t get a second fitting. I fully understood, but thought it was worth the try. I got one suit and one shirt made. I left at 12:30 and was working the rest of the day until I returned to my hotel at 10:00 pm, and my suit and shirt had been delivered to my hotel. I tried them both on. The suit fit great. The shirt fit well, except the neck was too big. I figured I would just wear the shirt without a tie. There wasn’t anything I could do. On Sunday, I messaged them to let them know I received both the suit and shirt and was very appreciative. I mentioned the neck was too big. He told me if I came in at 11, he would fix it for me. I had to be back at work by noon, but I was able to drop my shirt off at 11. I also picked out 2 more shirts. When I returned back to my hotel at 10:00 pm after working, my 3 shirts had been delivered to my hotel. I ended up with one suit and 3 shirts that fit great and were all delivered to my hotel. They go out of their way to accommodate!

Siamo andati lì sotto consiglio di un amico che ha vissuto a Bangkok. Sin da subito ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il servizio ottimo e la qualità del lavoro impressionante.
Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti. Tornerò sicuramente alla mia prossima visita in città .

Found them randomly as they were next to another tailor listed on Google. They had the cloth I wanted which was obviously a good start but were also quoting a lot cheaper than the other three I'd just been in. Suit was well made and on time. So thanks to Shane

I’ve made three visits for new clothes over the last three years as I’ve been in Bangkok for business. I go out of my way to get Arun and Shane to fit me out with new clothes.

These guys are expert, friendly, and totally trust worthy. The fabrics are beautiful, and the finished products are high quality. So far I have their shirts, trousers, and a jacket, and they’re all my most comfortable clothes.

Make sure you allow proper time for your fitting.

I recommend them.

Tailor made suits, perfect fit

I walked by this shop and decided to inquire about the suits. Patiently mr Pramoth explained me the concept and prices. Everything is possible. Colors, fabrics, styles. Many photo examples and finally the measuring for the suit.
Although the advertisement outside announces a lower suit price, still with my premium fabric, my suit is dirt cheap compared to my EU tailor. Mr Pramoth is no hustler and gives honest advice.
Next day I came back for some final adjustments and because I was leaving the day after very early he arranged delivery at my hotel the same night.
Next week I am back in Bangkok and will stop by again for a tuxedo!

Just left here after trying on my suit that was handmade. Fabrics are nice and the suit fit perfectly. I have a very wide shoulder base and small waist so it's difficult to buy a suit back in the US and have it fit as nicely as this. You can't beat the price, and you can't beat the quality. Stop by, you'll be glad you did.
