Just go see this show! Haha! :) It's so amazing, that I remember even now, 5 years later, how much I enjoyed it and how happy I was to just have spontaneously decided to see this great show with that amazing music and such talented artists.
They do acrobatics with (amongst other) large bamboo poles and it is so impressive to see them throw those poles around and climbing them, dancing jumping, just awesome!
I was in Vietnam in 2017, so I just hope the show is still on...I wrote a review for a restaurant in Ecuador, recently, which made me think about this show and whether it was possible to write one for this, as well. Turns out it is and here I am praising it for all, who are in the region to know it worth visiting! :)

Um lindo espetáculo que mostra o dia a dia dia vilas vietnamitas, com muita acrobacia, equilíbrio, criatividade. Uma música vibrante e única. Espetáculo incrível. O teatro também é lindo.

We went to see this show at the Opera House in Hanoi. A very artistic contemporary dance / acrobatic performance celebrating the rich history of Vietnam. What grace and talent by the gifted performers.

Depuis Janvier 2016 nous avons assisté à différents spectacles de Lune Production à Saïgon, à Paris (Parc de la Villette 2 fois) et enfin à Ha Noï pour "My Village" . C'est toujours avec ravissement que nous nous laissons prendre par ce numéro qui mélange musique, culture, acrobaties et ballets à un rythme varié et soutenu . La troupe est performante et dynamique . L'utilisation de bambous donne une connotation très asiatique dès le départ .

We saw this show in February. It was moved to the Hanoi Opera House,, which is very grand indeed. The show was good. It was amazing that they were only using bamboo canes. The timing and strength of the shows performers were stunning. I would book your seats a day before if you want a good seat. Photos are not aloud during the performance.

The Lune Production Team refunded our tickets, as my husband and I had to cancel our vacation in Vietnam due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in the whole world. Even though the Lune Production Team did not have to refund our tickets, as it was stated in the terms the tickets were non-refundable, they did so with great and kind service and a quick reply.
So my husband and I are definitely going to see the show, when we come to Vietnam sometime in the future. Thank you, Lune Production Team!

The show was simply AMAZING. It's a miracle to me as to what and how the artists perform so spectacular with onle bamboos. I also got a free tour to see the Opera House. A must when you come to Hanoi.

I went to this show last month with my family. It was spectacular for sure, it makes me surprised during the time performing. The show is so good. I'd completely give them 6 stars if i could.

This show had me on the edge of my seat with the amazing acrobatics. Wonderfully creative and entertaining. I loved it and would highly recommend to anyone!

As soosn as you are in Hanoi, you go directly to the centre and you can buy your tickets. You could also check with your hotel reception-

Is there a way to bring in personal belongings like a carry-on luggage? I land in Hanoi late so I won’t be able to make the show that night and I will be checked out of my hotel and getting on a sleeper bus the next night @ 22:00 so I was hoping to make a 18:00 showing

I think you could ask the hotel to help you enquire whether they have storage facilities. It also depends on whether you are watching the show at the opera house or the other theatre. Within the theatre itself there isn’t any space to keep your luggage unless what you have is a back pack. Hope this helps.

Lang Toi - My Village has 2 performances this week at 18:00, Vietnam Tuong Theater. The first one is on Wednesday (July 11) and the other is on Friday (July 13). You can visit their website luneproduction for details ^^

Is there any dresscode?
The dress code is not very strict as they allow you to come in with just your normal daily clothes but since you shall be in 2 of Hanoi's most famous and oldest theaters, I recommend you making the most of it for your facebook pictures ;)

It may be difficult for a child under 5 to sit still for the length of the production. :-) The ticket counter sales person will be able to clarify this policy issue.
