We did the 3 hour Hanoi Motorbike street food tour with Nhi as our guide, it was an amazing experience and the perfect way to see Hanoi and try some incredible food. Not only did we bike around to the different spots to eat, we were also shown some of the sights of Hanoi by bike and given so much info about the city. The guides were friendly and informative, we felt very safe on the bikes and got to eat at some wonderful locations that we wouldn’t have tried on our own. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi! Thank you!

We took the night time motorbike street food tour with our tour leader Cherry.Our tour was 6pm to 10pm, we were picked up from our hotel promptly at 5:45 by our 2 scooter drivers, Hue and Uyen, they were fabulous drivers and pointed out many sights along the way. As we weren't yet familiar with the layout of Hanoi yet, this tour offered us a great way to get familiar with the locals and the traffic. Cherry took us to at least 10 different venues with local food tastings or drinks at each location. She is obviously proud of her city and took us to all the highlights.She was also loaded with historic information and interested in our backgrounds as well. We were on the tour with one other couple from Chicago, all five of us got along very well, and we stay in touch via Whatsapp. Thank you Cherry for your professionalism and leadership, the evening was too short. Upon completion of our tour, we were dropped off at our hotel.
Cherry sent us a list of all the foods we tasted and their locations. We also texted her with questions on where we could find certain foods and drinks,to which she replied immediately. Highly recommended!!!

We decided to book a food tour by motorbike on recommendations from friends. However, they had done tours in Saigon, not Hanoi, so we chose this company based on TripAdvisor reviews.
Cherry was a wonderful guide and each of the four of us had our own motorbike driver. Cherry was very warm and knowledgeable, pointed out sights while on the bike, and showed us the proper way to eat everything (we had tried some of the dishes before, but hadn't been eating them the "right" way; eating it the right way made a huge difference!). We were all stuffed by the end.

We came to Hanoi already with a recommendation to make the street food tour with this company and could not be more happy! We choose the night 4h at our first day in Hanoi and this was definitely the best way to have a first contact with Vietnamese culture and a great perspective of Hanoi City. Cherry was our guide and she was just amazing!! She was warm and very knowledgeable of all the food and culture, explained every single dish and how we should properly eat it, took us sightseeing and made us feel very welcome and like a true local! Thank you so much for this fantastic experience, Cherry! Best wishes!

have to agree on the fact that in this busy and upbeat city, the traffic can be annoying and the fastest way to get around here has to be on motorcycles but the polluted air has to be a minus point on this trip. beside that i had a great time with the food and the places that only a local would know.

We did both a day and a night tour. The day tour was mostly sightseeing, with Rosie and her gang as they took us around town with a unique perspective on the back of motorbike. They were very thorough and informative! The night tour was just as amazing with several food stops!

Mango (and her team) was lovely, she speaks fluent French and English. The tour is a great way to discover the city, local dishes and restaurants. Mango was really friendly and we were able to ask a lot of questions about the cuisine, the dishes and the country in general. I really recommand it.

We were picked up by Tony & Kenny from our hotel on time and taken for a wonderful tour of the city with history, fun facts, seeing the real way locals live and trying different street food. Even though it rained that didnt stop us, we felt safe and enjoyed feeling part of the real city for a few hours. Wonderful way to see a different side of vietnam even if you're a little scared of riding on the back to the mopeds like me 😂😂

This tour was incredible thanks especially to our guide Tung (Tony). My partner and I booked a half historical/half food tour on motorbikes , which is truly the only way you can get a broad view of Hanoi in a short amount of time, and we were blown away by both parts. Tung and his partner drove the motorcycles (we rode on the back as passengers) and it was SO MUCH FUN. Super safe and he really took us on a deeper dive than I expected into local life. We saw the alley and school where he grew up, and got a really important look beyond the colonial tourist facade (i.e. how centuries of imperialist wars have created a highly precarious life for most Vietnamese living in Hanoi). Rode around the war museum and Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, which were spectacular to see at night. In the process, we learned the broad context of the American war in Vietnam. Those are just some highlights.
For the food portion, we ate until we cried. Special kinds of pho, bun cha, and spring rolls that you wouldn’t know to order without their guidance. Capped with an assortment of desserts (mango sticky rice, mango with coconut ice cream, and this gelatinous mung bean pudding with condensed milk and ice).
Overall, I highly recommend doing the bike food tour over the others offered. It’s worth the cost. Hopefully you get Tung (Tony), who was so charming and gave really great historical insights into the city.

I think 5 and 7 are too young... we had 3 older kids - youngest was 12 and it worked out... I think it’s safe but traffic is nuts and you really have to hold on tight to the bike

Hi. Has anyone done the full day motorbike city tour with Hanoi Motorbike Street Foods. Just wondering about the group size as we're looking for a smaller group/more intimate experience. Hi Stuart, we did this tour and it was amazing. It was only us and one other couple, generally the groups seem quite small. Definitely agree with the advice 'ask for Mango', she's awesome. Was one of the favourite things we did!

what time is the departure for this tour . is it full day or half day. How much is the tour fees, can we ride the bike ourselves and follow the guide. Or must it be a tour guide with a tourist?
