Vietnam Alive Travel - Highly recommended for travel to Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia

I had the opportunity to travel to Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, with the arrangements made by Vietnam Alive Travel. Words cannot adequately describe the efficiency, warmth, personal attention, outstanding guides, and wonderful itineraries they offer.

Van Nguyen is a consummate professional when it comes to planning our tour. His response time is almost immediate for any questions you might have. If I ever travel to any regions Vietnam Alive covers again, rest assured I will not consider any other travel company. Vietnam Alive Travel is simply the best!

Excellent trip to Vietnam and Cambodia

Vietnam Alive was recommended to us by friends.
We took an 11-day tour for a family of 6, using Vietnam Alive services for hotels, guides, and transportation.
Our experience with Van and his team was superb!
Van is very pleasant to work with, very accessible. Every day during the tour he reached out to us to make sure we are happy.
We had different guides in Hanoi, Siem Reap, and Saigon. All three guides were excellent!
I would absolutely recommend Vietnam Alive for anyone traveling in the region.

Van was a fantastic guide. We had a group of 40 MBA students visiting Saigon to meet with companies for a class. Van was friendly, organized, efficient, flexible, and professional. He could read the room and anticipate the needs of our group, particularly after we arrived from an overnight flight. He presented us with a laminated card showing exchange rates and key phrases and gave us a brief overview of Vietnamese culture and history. He recommended an excellent tailor and walked us to the store. He gave us a great city tour highlighting the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, and Post Office.

Excellent tour guide for picky travelers - Vietnam and Cambodia

We planned our entire trip with Van. There were seven of us and so we all have our personalities and needs. We wanted to only do personal tour because we were looking for flexibility. Although Van did excellent job in planning our entire 16 days trip/ tour up to precious details, but we made some changes along the way due to heat. It was really hot some days, and we really did not want to be out for long with kids. So Van made the changes as quickly as possible with our request. That was the key to our trip's success. Because we travel a-lot and we are picky when it comes to service, hotel selection, tours, flexibility , cleanness, safety, and food selection. All was taken care of by Van's team as we requested .

The hotel selections were great, the rooms were absolutely five star and his team provided excellent on time service.

I recommend everyone to use Van for their next trip. You will get what you request. They will meet you at the airport on time, they will show up for all your tours on time and be at your services. They plan really well and usually does not require your input but if you have specially request like we did, they will ensure to take care of it.

International Study Trip to Vietnam

I have just returned from a trip to Vietnam with MBA students. We were so pleased that we are planning to return next year and frankly, would not consider doing so if it were not for Vietnam Alive Travel.

This trip was both a solo trip and a trip with a friend. During the planning stages of my trip Van was very helpful as I was going to be in Vietnam 6 days prior to my friend’s arrival. There were places I wanted to see and there were places that Van suggested I see. The Mekong Delta trip that Van suggested was fantastic! I was able to experience and learn about life of the people in the south...After my solo southern adventure I flew up to Hanoi to meet up with my travel partner...there were some issues with her flight being delayed...Van and Henry were able to adjust her itinerary to maximize her experience on Halong Bay...the service was exceptional! Van and Henry also helped us coordinate a hiking and over night cave expedition with another tour group making the trip planning seamless. All the guides spoke English and definitely added to the overall positive experience by providing cultural and historical perspective. All internal flights and flight to Siem Riep, Cambodia were arranged by Vietnam Alive as were airport pickup and send off. Angkor Wat did not disappoint...the guide and driver we had were exceptional, willing to facilitate our desire to steer clear of large tour groups and maximize our experience at the huge temple complex. This trip to Vietnam and Cambodia exceeded my expectations!

Excellent travel experience with Vietnam Alive

From planning to execution it was a pleasure working with the Vietnam Alive team. Van Nguyen and his team organized a diverse and a very well-planned itinerary for our 2.5 week vacation in Vietnam and Seam Reap, Cambodia. Their team is professional, efficient, friendly, reliable and prompt. They took care of all the details large and small of our trip. Vietnam Alive provided us with a worry-free vacation and with excellent customer service.

The company booked our local flights, hotels, tours and even some restaurants and activities. From disembarking our international flight, we were accompanied. All our drivers and all our local tour guides were on-time, professional and friendly. The cars were modern, clean and comfortable. Vietnam Alive provided us with knowledgable, English-speaking local tour guides who made sure that we understood and enjoyed our trip. The hotels that were booked for us were clean, comfortable, centrally located, and very hospitable. Our activities were diverse and fun and included walking tours, various boat rides, cyclo (bicycle rickshaw), traditional junk cruise, tuktuk rides, indoor museums and institutions tours, shows, and more. The restaurants chosen enabled us to experiment and enjoy good-quality local food.

I must applaud the team's work in real-time ensuring our safe and smooth travels despite weather mishaps. An unseasonable (end of Dec) Typhoon crossed our path, and the team managed to change our itinerary in real-time so that our vacation was not wasted and we managed to see it all, apart for one day.

Van and Henry communicated directly and regularly with us throughout our entire trip via emails and phone. They informed us of any flight changes, and any itinerary changes due to weather problems. They even reminded us to arrange for proper visas when needed.

The team was well-tuned to our likes and needs. They provided recommendations for shopping, including tailors in Hoi An. And as the cherry on top - they even arranged a New Years gala for us, which was much fun!

I definitely will recommend Vietnam Alive to friends and family.

We where recommended this tour company and it was a great success to book with them. Both Henry and Van are very professional and they managed to put a schedule together for children and adults. The highlights where Halong Bay, where we would recommend to stay longer than one night, Furama villas an absolute luxury for us and the Mekong Mango home river tour, where we had our own boat. The kids loved to stay in this more rural area than the cities.
We hope that more people from Europe use this company when travelling in Vietnam we can highly recommend it.

Exceptional Services! Highly recommend Vietnam Alive Travel!

We booked with Vietnam Alive for a trip through Vietnam in 10 days. What a fabulous experience!
Starting from Hanoi, we experienced Hanoi beautiful Halong Bay. Then we traveled to Hue and Hoian and on to Saigon and the Mekong Delta.

The hotels selected by Mr. Van from Vietnam Alive were fabulous. Sofitel Legend in Hanoi, Violet Cruise Halong Bay, the Nam Hai in Hoian, La Residence Hue and Park Hyatt Saigon.

All the guides were excellent! We leaned a lot from the trip.

Hats off to Vietnam Alive and we highly recommend them for any travel to Vietnam!

Stress free vacation

Van made our planning very easy which allowed us to focus on enjoying our time, not on the small things that can cause stress while traveling. From the wifi in the van to the flexibility of adding stops along the way to avoiding the tourist trap areas to the sites we were able to see, this was a fabulous trip. Not to mention Van was in the US during our trip and yet he still reached out to see how things were going. Very personal service from Van and our two guides, Henry and Tam. We will definitely use Vietnam Alive services again.
