In de imperial city werden we ontvangen met een Vietnamees thee, en kregen we workshop in het maken van de Vietnamese hoed, erg indrukwekkend om te zien hoe deze gemaakt werd. Daarna konden we onze crativiteit kwijt in het maken van papieren lotusbloemen en het beschilderen van vliegers. Thanh Hùông gaf alle uitleg vol passie en in goed Engels. Echt een aanrader.

Many things that kids can do from making kites, flowers and the Vietnamese hat. Great staff that can talk english, kept kids entertained making and painting. Can also peruse quality souvenirs with out being heckled. Thanks so much.

C'est un bel espace culturel avec beaucoup de beaux souvenirs. Nous avons appris à peindre sur les cerfs-volants, c'était une expérience vraiment amusante. Guide touristique nommé Thui Ngoc est professionnelle et enthousiaste. Nous y reviendrons à coup sûr la prochaine fois.

When I came to Hue. I was struck by beautiful space at Luc Bo. Especially traditional handicrafts space. I had a nice moment with Ngoc . She seem as a dedicated Art teacher . We had a interesting conversation at that time. Verry nice !

My sister and I went to Vietnam to see the land and learn more about the culture. Most of the people here in Vietnam wear a conical hat and we like to know more about this tradition. So we went to Luc Bo.
Here a little Tip if you like to do it, it is better to make a booking per Facebook before you go there, so they can tell you which time is possible for them.
So my sister and I went there (it's near the imperial city) at 2 pm and a really nice woman told us everything about this tradition, we learned where the name is coming from and what hard work it is to do one on your own. All the people there were so friendly to us and willing to explain things.
In the end, we get some hats which were already finished and let our names be written on it.
If you like to learn more about the tradition of this culture I just can recommend such an experience at Luc Bo.
And a big thank you to the woman who gave us such a nice insight into this interesting culture.
