Another Unforgettable Journey with Vietnam Motorbike Tours – Road to Cambodia Tour
Having completed four incredible tours with Vietnam Motorbike Tours in the past, I knew the Road to Cambodia tour would offer the same fantastic experience, unforgettable friendships, and lasting memories. This adventure, which started in Nha Trang and ended in Phnom Penh, was no exception.
We began the trip on the familiar VMT bikes, which I always enjoy. As we crossed into Cambodia, we switched to the Honda Rally bikes, which added an exciting new element to the ride. A simple modification to the foot pegs made it extremely comfortable for me as a pillion. I love how Vietnam Motorbike Tours not only caters to the riders but also takes care of the pillions, ensuring everyone has a great time.
From the coastal beauty of Vietnam to the serene countryside of Cambodia, the landscapes on this tour were truly breathtaking. The guides and support crew were exceptional—fluent in English, always helpful, and passionate about making sure the tour was smooth and enjoyable. Their dedication really added to the experience.
The accommodation was excellent, with comfortable rooms and inviting pools to cool off in after a day of riding. The food along the way was a highlight, especially the fresh, delicious dishes from both Vietnam and Cambodia. I was continually amazed at the quality and variety of food available at such affordable prices.
What really made this tour stand out was the immersive experience we had in both Vietnam and Cambodia. We traveled through small villages and towns that you wouldn’t normally get to see on a typical tour. This gave us an authentic view of life in both countries and created some of the best memories of the trip.
As always, I highly recommend this tour to singles and couples alike. Whether you’re a seasoned motorbike adventurer or a first-timer, the Road to Cambodia tour is an experience you’ll cherish forever. Having done four tours with Vietnam Motorbike Tours, I can confidently say they consistently deliver incredible experiences, meaningful friendships, and lasting memories.

What an amazing place! Had the best time! The VMT team are so well organized making the trip feel almost guilty how easy everything was. From morning briefings to afternoon check-ins and beyond :), these guys are fantastic with their professionalism and personalism. Will be back!

What do I think of my trip, well it was my fourth trip so I guess that might say it all. I have done both TG 1 & 2 and the North West tour and now the Vietnam Cambodia tour. I highly recomend VMT as a very professional company, easy to deal with, very helpfull with all the steps required to make a booking. On the road the team was excelent, I have had Bao, Titi, Sam, Bob, Thing and Bao son Nam. How they manage things on the road is amazing, flat tyre, no problem 15 min later back on the road, fix the brakes, clutch, chain no issue. They even carry a spare bike on some tours. The guides will swap their bike for yours if they need to. At no time is the customer inconvenienced. Accomodation is whilst it varies in some towns it is of good to high standards always clean and tidy right through to 5 star. The luggage is always unloaded into the foyer rooms allocated, in the morning your luggage is loaded into the van for transport. Breakfast and lunch and coffee stops are included, dinner at your expense at various restaurants sometimes it's a groupe dinner, we all chip in for the costs. On road issues like border crossings are dealt with a very professional approach. We had to catch a flight out of Vietnam to Saigon then another flight back to Siem Reap to continue our Cambodia leg due to boarder problems, the way in which the problem was solved showed how professional the team is. I can highly recomend any of the tours they provide, the Vietnam Cambodia tour was one I wanted to do back in 2020 but covid got in the way. But I have now done it and can recomend it. The North West tour is my choice because of the good mountain riding roads and the scenery. The bikes are suited for the type of riding and are virtually indestructible. So in summary VMT are one of the best tour companies i have had the pleasure of dealing with and can highly and confidently recomend them for motor bike tours in Vietnam.

After an initial issue or two with the rather tardy booking system, it must be said that the Top Gear Moto 2 Tour this October came up trumps! The tour was well thought out and worked like an oiled machine, from the connecting flight to the hotel bookings. All had clearly been organised well, so thanks to Jason and Liz for that.
The real stars of the show were our guides; Titi ,Bao, Lam and Pop. Funny, friendly and full of information on the various sights and sounds in Vietnam. Their real skill was in keeping our large group of 19 bikes together and safe on the road as they herded us across difficult junctions or one of the many other hazards. The riding was fairly full on in a slow way, the slippery, lumpy, gravelly and sandy conditions always reqiuring attention. Oh, and the rain - but hey, it's Vietnam!
At all turns, food and coffe stops were always at the right time, and the beer at the end of the day, whilst Titi was sorting out the hotel room keys was a nice touch that we all came to look forward to, and much wanted after the dusty day's ride.
The other star, of course, was the country itself; it was great to see it again, but it's clear to see that the environment is on a knife edge here, and it could go very quicker if not looked after.
The Ho Chi Minh trail in the mountains was just superb, as was the hike out from Tan Ky back into the mountains on the circular back to Hanoi. Hanoi traffic makes the worst London traffic seem disciplined by comparison and it was a shame we didn't venture all the way in to the centre on the bikes, it was great fun!
Our group of four were all really happy with the tour, in every repect; the support crew fixing the bikes, the guides were always there, even when the riding stopped, the hotels good when they could be and still the best when there was nothing good around.
It's a certainty that we'll be returning for another trip, and look forward to maybe meeting up with Titi and friends again.

This was the best value for money experience we have ever had.
We did Top Gear Moto 2 and the roads were incredible. More turns than I’ve ever seen.
Incredible scenery. Village after village we road through seeing the real Vietnam. Food was delicious and so fresh every day.
The whole trip was amazing. The Vietnamese guides absolutely made it the fun and low pressure entertaining experience. We can’t speak highly enough about their commitment to ensuring you were having the best experience.
We will be going back to do another tour as soon as we can. Can’t stop thinking about it. Every day was an experience from the time you got up and had breakfast till the time you hit the sack.

Top gear super tour.
From the moment we met the crew we knew this was going to be something special. The crew was hospitable, organised, vigilant and amazing mechanics! The riding was interspersed with cultural notes. The meals were fantastic.
But best of all were the guides who made it just so much fun!

Far exceeded our expectations in every way. The tour guides were second to none, always there to assist everyone and nothing was too much trouble. The destinations were amazing! Off the tourist route and in the local culture. The bikes were fantastic for the job, and riding with a pillion was no trouble at all. I can not recommend highly enough.

The Vietnam bike team were exceptionally well organised, outstanding in their care and attention to the entire group - there was nothing too much trouble for them and we were treated as friends rather than clients - an excellent team.
Completed the 14 day Top Gear Super Tour from Nha Trang to Hanoi. Ride and scenery were amazing - interesting stops en-route, overnight stops in a variety of excellent accommodation- opportunities to meet local people, gain an understanding of minority villages and way of life - if you want to immerse yourself in Vietnam- culture & scenery - while enjoying the thrill of bike riding then Vietnam Motorbike Tours are the team to go with. Could not recommend them enough.

Hi you may have already sorted this but if not contact the guys atVietnam Motorbike Tours. They can organise a bespoke tour for you or you may want to join one of the other tours they do. If it’s just bike hire if they don’t do it they will be able to advise you who to approach. Good luck and ride safe 👍🏻

We are taking a cruise and will dock in Nha Trang for just a day. What is the MUST SEE/DO thing while here? We had planned the mortorbike tour, but I wanted more ideas for just a short time.
