Great experience with Bangladesh Eco Adventure

We did a two weeks journey with Mahadi Hassan from Bangladesh Eco Adventure in November. Everything was well organised, we had a private bus, private boats and all (hotel) reservations were made properly. No hassle, no discussion and some flexibility on the way when we decided to return to Dhaka from Srimangal by train. The itinerary was very exciting, including 2 major festivals. The whole experience was overwhelming, we enjoyed it very much, especially the warm welcome of the Bengali people. While Dhaka is considered as a less viable and rather chaotic city, this mega city has a lot to offer to tourists: it has monuments, markets, bazars and a vibrant life on and along the Buriganga river. We were happu with this trip and can recommend visiting Bangladesh as one of the most authentic destinations and experiences in South East Asia.

Beautiful Bangladesh - Amazing Experience thanks to Bangladesh Eco Adventures

Over a four day period, I experienced three different tours: the Dhaka Street Photography Tour, a Trip to Tea Capital Srimangal and a Full Day Tour to Old Capital Sonargaon. First, I found Bangladesh Eco Adventures through the many positive reviews online, but I chose them due their compelling offerings, flexibility and especially the consistent, detailed and professional communication of Afridi. Afridi carefully explained each tour, provided thoughtful recommendations and insight. All communication and advice were timely, accurate and useful. Even helped me with the Visa on Arrival process. Once in Bangladesh, I had the good fortune to be led by Najib. He was so kind, caring, attentive and just fun to be with. Najib shared information and insight into the Bengali culture and the sights we visited. He ensured that I was comfortable, safe and enjoying myself at all times. Throughout the four days, Najib was attentive to my interests and adapted to ensure my experience was unforgettable. During the trip to Srimangal, I also met two wonderful guides Shovon and Shamol. Shovon was also caring, professional and friendly. In addition to his explanations in the Lawachara National Park, we had interesting discussions on the 5 hour train ride to and from Dhaka. I enjoyed learning about life in Bangladesh from him. Shamol was a fascinating and interesting person. He is from the Srimangal area, knowing well the area and the people. He was so welcoming and friendly. He took me to unique and remote places that I could not have done without his help. It is also important to mention that during my stay, I had two drivers Habib and Bachu. Like everyone from this tour company, they were very friendly and accommodating. Most importantly they were safe drivers taking precaution and being efficient at the same time. I saw a lot thanks to their efforts. I am 100% satisfied from my four days of touring and I highly recommend Bangladesh Eco Adventures. Bangladesh is a beautiful country. I felt welcomed everywhere I went as people were naturally curious and interested to meet a foreigner. What a magical place to discover, Bangladesh... the food, the energy, the smiles, the colors and the kindness. Thanks again Najib for leading the way. Unforgettable

Awesome Sundarban tour

Mahadi and the team of Bangladesh Eco Adventures organises an awesome Sundarban tour for us. We got a fiber boat with a great crew. They took us out for walking safaries as well deep into the canals through the forest. Our guide Ali had a great knowledge of all the beautiful birds and species we saw, like crocs, dolphins, eagles, kingfishers and lots of deer. The tigers gave us a reason to come back since we only saw their footprints. Neverteless we where very excited about seeing a King Cobra.
We definitely recommend to work with Bangladesh Eco Adventure. They are quick in organizing, very familiair with the Sundarban and flexible in case you want to change something.

Very disappointing

I am beyond disappointed with the services provided by Bangladesh Eco Adventure tour company. I had high hopes for this tour agency, but they have completely let me down. For the past 11 days, they have not been responding to my questions about details for the tours. Every time I tried to reach out to them, they would either ignore my messages or make excuses.

The lack of communication has been extremely frustrating. They promised to get back to me each night, but they never did. It's unacceptable for a tour agency to be so unreliable and unresponsive, especially when it comes to something as important as travel arrangements.

I am writing this review as a warning to others. Do not waste your time or money with Bangladesh Eco Adventure. Their poor communication and unprofessional behavior have ruined my experience with them. I will never book a tour with them again, and I strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs.

Fantastic tour for solo travellers

A fantastic tour, an absolute must if you are visiting Dhaka. Najib was an excellent tour guide, extremely knowledgeable and he even helped me get a sim card which I could not have done without him. The boat trip was an absolute highlight, as was using the rickshaws! I was initially nervous about being a solo traveller, but it was an incredible experience.

Awesome tour of Dhaka with Najib

Najib was an awesome tour guide! We spent two days with him and got to see all of the major sites of Dhaka and learn about local culture, history, and way of life. It was incredibly eye opening, fun, and well organized. On this tour you'll get to see the biggest Dhaka bazaar, ride on a boat along the Buriganga River, visit local mosques and temples, and beautiful attractions like the University of Dhaka, Pink Palace, and Red Fort (Lalbagh Kella). Highly recommend this tour to anyone in Dhaka for the first time and wanting to see/do things that would be difficult to do without the help of a local guide.

Great experience

This is a belated review for our trip with Bangladesh Eco Adventure in November 2022. I was in Dhaka for work with some colleagues of mine and we went first to Sonargaon on a weekend trip and then had a customized itinerary to a few places including Sundarbans, UNESCO heritage sites and some rural/village experience. Najib was our guide and we traveled by local trains and tuktuks. The team arranged perfectly our trip, I really appreciated eco cottages for overnight stay and electric tuktuks in many places we visited. Najib is a very good guide (what is your favorite dish? Rice! 3 times a day :D ) and made sure we were safe and sound at all times. I look forward to travel again with Bangladesh Eco Adventure next time I manage to get to 🇧🇩 🇧🇩 🇧🇩.

Complete and diverse tour full of learnings

Afridi was a fantastic guide. He knew the city like his hand and I was able to learn because of him a lot about Bangladesh, its culture, and many fun facts. The tour is action-packed, being able to discover many places in Dhaka. If I had gone myself, I wouldn´t have been able to see a tenth of what we got to do. 100% recommended.

Noor is a very nice and thoughtful person. He gave me the day of my life, guiding me through amazing Old Dhaka.
I had a wonderful trip with Noor through Old Dhaka. It was my second day in Bangladesh so it was quite an experience to get around in Old Dhaka and cross the river to visit the shipyards. A day I will never forget, with the best guide I could wish. Noor also helped me finding out the gate number and terminal for my launch boat travel to Barishal the next day, which I never could have found myself (nor my driver the next day). Noor is very nice and really saved my boarding on time the next day. Thank you very much Noor.
