We joined the ATV group tour along the beaches and we loved every minute of it! The guide was friendly and helpful. The ATV was easy to control and it was a thrill riding it on the sandy beach, through the trees and cross the puddles. My 10 years old daughter was able to ride it independently and the journey was overall safe and not too challenging as long as you don't speed or try to do a sharp turn. Perfect activity to do during a beautiful sunny day

Our family had a fun time on the quad bikes, riding through scenic kampong scenery complete with water buffaloes & a crocodile pond(we viewed from distance). The hosts were attentive, & accompanied us throughout. Highly recommended, but be prepared to get slightly dirty

my host and I decided to do this last minute and the whole area was pretty much empty that day so we had the atv longer for what we paid for cause the guys there didn't care ...we paid for four hours and kept them for six. glad to have done this.

This is the best morning out in brunei I think the kids have had.
We've been here for four years and been all over Borneo and there are of course great sights here but only towns n rain Forrest in brunei. There's sailing n horse riding for club members, and surfing if a typhoon heads towards Vietnam, but almost anybody can go on atvs and almost any time. The surroundings are a mix of jungle and communal farms. There's fish feeding and crocs to see n feed too. The quads are well maintained, easy to operate and the guides encourage safety. Kids might want to bring their own bike helmets as theirs are all for adults.

There is actually a choice if you wish to enjoy ATV in Brunei, you can either go for the Tunku Beach Tour or as in our choice the Katimahar AgriPark Tour. We opted for this village tour rather than the beach tour to go back to nature and we expect the tour to be more challenging.
The first challenge is locating Katimahar and we did this with the help of Google Map! It took sometime to hook up with the ATV operator but we finally did. The guided tour lasted for more than 2 hours, going through muddy trails, steep inclines and vegetable patches and also an encounter with a water buffalo.
The tour was well organised and relatively safe with the lead guide at the front and his partner taking the rear of the convoy. We did have our moments as well when one of the ATV slip into a ditch, fortunately it was a soft landing and no one was injured.
Do wear appropriate clothing and be prepared to get mud all over, and in Brunei when doing outdoor activities, do apply sufficient sun block otherwise risk getting sun burns.
Overall I rate this activity as one of the highlight of my visit to Brunei, the ATV cost B$55 per ATV, the guides were also excellent and accommodating. Good clean fun for the family!

Tour in Tunku beach was 2 hours. Had 4 atvs with a guide. Trail was in a jungle beside the beach. Pass through streams, good off road path with several slopes. Also went on a headland where the view of the sea was breathtaking. Appropriate for family as route was safe and ATVs were speed reduced -- but quick enough. There are also longer route as per operator that would take half a day with some picnic at 1/2 way. Worth exploring. Will be back. Great fun and good value for money.

Tungku beach ATV adventure ride is a fun activity to do on a week end in brunei. For 50$ per ATV they provide you with a guides in to a off road trail alongside the beach .my advise would be sun screen sun glasses and a cap cause when you drive behind a other ATV Their is a lot of sand and dust.Only problem is the start and end of the journey cause to access the beach you have to drive between all the garbage and people on the first entry to the track .
