Typical souvenir place with a wide variety of items. We didn’t buy anything at all as most items were relatively pricey. However, the service staff who attended to us, Prasadini, was friendly and professional, patiently answering all our questions about various items. At least, we learnt a bit more about Sri Lankan produce and culture.

Visited Lakarcade showroom this evening. Experienced excellent customer service enabling me to find all items I needed within few minutes.well done! I highly recommended this place for locally made handicrafts 👍

Lakarcade is the place to go to for souvenirs, handcrafts and batik clothes that are made in Sri Lanka. They have a beautiful collection of gem stones of various sizes. The prices of the gem stones are reasonable. Very respectful, accommodating and friendly staff. I had a great experience with the gem and jewellery department. A special thanks to Ameshka who went beyond to meet my request for a custom made white sapphire pendant. He also ensured that I got my pendant within 2 days. He was so helpful and professional. Lakarcade is highly recommended not just for souvenirs and handcrafts but also for gems and jewellery.

A great place for handicrafts shopping in Colombo. The shop had a wide array of products which were of excellent quality. The staff were very friendly. Overall, a must try when you are in Colombo.

Best gift shop in Colombo, great selection of products, souvenirs, hand crafted items.

Lakarcade has been the place to go for me on every visit to Sri Lanka. The souvenirs, articles, gift are of highest quality, it brings much joy to present them to friends and family, they always ask me where did I get them from.
The staff is super friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable on the products they showcase.
I just love the whole experience and the quality of my purchases.

I found this shop after a person on the street advised me to go there because it was supposedly the best souvenirs shop in town, and I was not disappointed! Great choice of quality products all produced in Sri Lanka. I found the presents to take home, and to give away. If you fancy “colonial” decoration style there is a lot to find there, made with great craftsmanship and taste. Be patient, and take time to browse, many beautiful things are displayed in the back of the shop :) but you will definitely find here most of the things Sri Lanka has to offer.
The staff was very knowledgeable, patient and accommodative, and when it became dark outside, even arranged me a cab, so I felt very safe! Overall great experience and I may only highly recommend it to everyone visiting Colombo!

the prices are very competitive and reasonable because the quality is extremely high from my experience. I too appreciate the customer service which they have extended for their customers. I f you need any further info please visit their website (google lakarcade)
