Istanbul Port Tours is so professional with very experienced/caring guides!

We spent 2 full days touring the city of Istanbul with our guide Beyza. She was amazing, so knowledgeable! She attended a 4 yr university program specifically in tourism & management. Her descriptions of all the historical events brought it all to life for us. We toured Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern, Spice market etc. Beyza was so flexible as a guide. We asked for a break from walking/standing, and maybe a bite to eat, and she quickly found a nearby restaurant that served a wonderful lamb soup. She turned our outing into a mini food tour! We sampled kebabs, soup, breaded meatballs and we absolutely loved it. ❤️

Great team puts everything together for a private tour so all you do is sit back and relax!

We used Soner Tufan’s team for our Ephesus and our Istabul visits. We had private tours each day with a driver and guide and the price was very reasonable compared to what the cruise line wanted to charge. In Ephesus we toured the anceint city, basilica of Saint John and Meryemana ( Vigin Mary house). We also took a quick tour of the Turkish rug making factory where we learn how silk is created. In Istanbul we saw The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Sutanahmet Square, Hippodome and of course the Grand Bazaar. Soners team worked with us when we called from the states and in all cases English was NOT a problem for guides and staff. I highly recommend this group, in fact my daughter will be using them next year!

Excellent guided tour of Ephesus

Our tour guide Azime was absolutely fantastic! We felt comfortable with her right away. Her knowledge of the history of Ephesus is very impressive and expansive. She explained the history in an interesting and easy to understand way. She grew up playing on the grounds of Ephesus so she knows the area very well. We were provided umbrellas, which were very helpful since it was hot and there were not many shady areas. We also had water available in the van. Azime has a network of other guides that keep each other up to date on the lines, so we were able to time our visits to the various sites when they were less crowded. We visited Ephesus, Basilica of St. John, and the House of the Virgin Mary. I highly recommend Azime as your tour guide!

One of the best tours we had in Europe!

This was an excellent tour the tour guy met us right at our cruise ship and then we spent the whole day with her going in and out of the highlights of the city but the best thing was when we sat down at one of her favorite restaurants and she helped us order a giant spread for the eight of us and it was the best meal we had on an entire 19 day European Tour. I would definitely highly recommend this tore to anybody it was unforgettable and perfect and our tour guide was the best we've had, Kelly

Unforgettable Istanbul Adventure!

Our knowledgeable guide led us through the bustling streets, sharing captivating stories about the city's past and present.

The tour took us to some of Istanbul's most iconic landmarks, and each stop left me in awe. The Hagia Sophia, with its towering domes and intricate artwork, was a masterpiece that truly showcased the city's historical significance. The Blue Mosque, a tranquil oasis amidst the energetic city, was a sight to behold with its stunning architecture and serene ambiance.

The Grand Bazaar, the vibrant colors, the aromatic spices, and the lively atmosphere made it an unforgettable experience. Exploring the maze of stalls and interacting with local vendors was a true immersion into Istanbul's vibrant culture.

This tour was a fantastic way to explore the city, and I can't recommend it enough!

Great tours for cruisers

Easy and customizable tours with private van pick up and drop off. Ayse was a great tour guide with lots of local and historical knowledge. We did 2 days with her - one focusing on old town/spice market and a second on the Asia side, local shopping, bizaars, etc. We stayed two additional days in Istanbul and felt very comfortable getting around solo thanks to Ayse’s tips.

Excellent Tour group from planning through three incredible days

We used this tour company for both our port of call for Ephesus as well as three days in Istanbul at the end of the cruise.

Istanbul: We had booked three days of guided tours in Istanbul. Planning and communication was efficient. We had a detailed three-day itinerary planned in advance. Communications with our guide via WhatsApp was effective. Two days with a guide and driver, the third day just the guide. Özlem, our guide, was exceptional. Throughout the three days she effortlessly provided detailed descriptions of the sites. When it was built, by who, for what, how it was used throughout the years. She gave us a broad range of experiences, from the standard sites like Hagia Sophia to quaint neighborhoods where could experience Istanbul "like a local." We left having fallen in love with Istanbu.

Excellent private tour option to unlock the history of this great city

Really enjoyed our two days of private tour with Aisha. We managed to not only see the highlight attractions (Day 1 – Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Roman Hippodrome and Grand Bazaar and Day 2 – Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern and Spice Market) of Istanbul but also to understand their history and significance, thanks to Aisha’s knowledgeable input and excellent delivery. Istanbul is such an amazing city, but we felt we would have merely “visited it” rather than “understood it” had it not been for our experience with Aisha. She supplemented the agenda with some great little gems of places to visit for authentic food and refreshments, not to mention the shopping which was equally immersive! Would strongly recommend to anyone considering a private tour of this great city.

Istanbul in a day!
Ichelle greeted is promptly at the cruise terminal and whisked us away for our first exploration of Istanbul. I love that she was attentive to our pacing and also focusing on interests of our 8 yr old grandson (history and mythology).
She endured we got to visit all the sites we were interested in and we were able to maximize our time. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour with an extremely knowledgable guide. Haggia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Cisterns, Topacki Palace. Missed the Grand Bazaar because it was a holiday.
