Outstanding Tour Company

This is the second time I have used Daily Istanbul Tours (DIT) on cruises that stopped in Turkey. Even though there had been about 5 years between the times we visited Istanbul, the quality of the service provided by DIT has continued to be outstanding. On this trip, I had a group of 15 senior classmates and spouses, and we had 3 different tours set up with DIT. Each of our guides was knowledgeable, personable, flexible and eager to make our tours something special. All of my group was very complimentary of the tours that DIT set up for us. We were given the opportunity to be flexible and change things when necessary. It was also extremely easy to work with the Operations Manager, Soner Tufan in the DIT office in setting up the tours, so they each ended up being outstanding. I would highly recommend DIT for cruise or ground tours, and if I'm ever in the area in the future I will certainly use them again.

Highly recommend Ozgur!
We were in Istanbul for an overnight on the cruise ship, Celebrity Infinity. We hired Ozgur for a private 2-day tour (all day, both days.) He was amazing! My husband has mobility issues and Ozgur took his time, allowing him to rest as needed. We saw so much more than we possibly could have on a cruise excursion. During our 2 days we saw Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Roman Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Spice Market, Golden Horn, Pierre Loti Hill, Taksim Square, İstiklal Street and Galata Tower (outside). He also took us to Dolmabahçe Palace and on the ferry to and from the Asian side of Istanbul. Ozgur was so knowledgeable and so eager to share his culture. We went to a couple of great local restaurants and had the best ever baklava. He also took tons of great photos for us. Highly recommend!

Istanbul from the Inside

Diana, our tour guide, provided us with rich Turkish experiences and memories which we would not have if not for her. Ice cream with a show, kebabs on the street, Turkish coffee in the bazaar, rich history lessons of the Roman and Ottoman Empires, and an appreciation for the art and architecture of Istanbul are etched in our memory banks now. All the while, Diana kindly concerned herself with our needs for refreshment, shade from the sun, and finding specific gift items to take home. We would not know Istanbul without her.

Great experience in Istanbul

My husband and I booked the private one day walking tour of Istanbul and had Ayshe as our tour guide. We travel a lot and have gone on many tours and would like to say that Ayshe was the best tour guide we have ever had. She took us to the top sites in Istanbul and we had a great time. She is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful and was able to get us through the long lines easily. I would definitely ask for her if you are in Istanbul.

Istanbul Private Shore Excursion

I booked private shore excursion for my mom while she was in Turkey for a 2 day stop. The booking process was easy and the tour was amazing. My mom really enjoyed not only the actual tour but also loved the humor and information that the tour guide provided. 5 out of 5 stars!

Istanbul with Emel
Emel, our tour guide knew everything about the locations we visited and the city itself. I would definitely go back and ask for Emel to show us the rest of the city.

Diana rocks
Diana is wonderful and knowledgeable . We went to everything I wanted to I see and even learned some language that I enjoyed using. Wonderful lunch and I enjoyed Diana’s company the entire day

Wonderful tour!

We loved our tour! Ozlem helped us cover a ton of sites in a short amount of time and she was as delightful as she was knowledgeable. Wear good walking shoes!

Amazing Tour of Istanbul

Hazal was an amazing tour guide who helped us navigate the crowds and line ups in Istanbul. She kept us informed about important aspects of the highlights with passion and enthusiasm. Of note, one of the tour group members lost their phone/wallet in the vehicle and she ensured that the phone/wallet was returned to the ship intact! We appreciate the efforts Hazal displayed in our visit to Istanbul and look forward to visiting again! The tour operator, Soner, was very responsive prior to the tour and we appreciate prompt responses to requests for changes. As well, Soner ensured detailed communications to assist in retrieving the phone/wallet. Thank you Soner and Hazal!
