Нет свободных мест, очереди везде, за едой, в туалет, негде сесть, при этом продолжают пускать народ. Из бесплатного алкоголя только кислое турецкое вино, пиво от 6 евро. Еда скудная, турецкая кухня. Из хорошего только вид из панорамных окон. Бизнес-зал не стоит тех денег. В Москве любой зал га порядок лучше

Been here for the fifth or the sixth time, so as a regular business lounge visitor worldwide, I can say that this one is by far the worst business class lounge! It is so overcrowded that you get much better rest elsewhere. As a matter of fact, Istanbul airport is very comfortable if you don't visit this lounge. No comfort, average food, and an awful drinks selection. In one world: terrible!

Worst experience I ever had with this airline . Means nobody’s matters for them they delayed flight and change the route for the people and not given any kind of fecility. I will never travel back with them

Turkish Airlines IST Business class lounges - staff here are very arrogant, condescending and downright UNHELPFUL in the extreme. They take delight in giving TK Airlines BEST, MOST PROFITABLE customers the run-around….eg: first you must do this..then if you do that, you are ineligible…blah blah…(see example below)
They delight in “passing the buck” - ie: take the traveller who is tired, hungry and has been on a long flight - pass from one person to another.. ie: give them the run-around
I have had the opportunity, to deal with TK airlines staff on multiple occassions - while doing transit at IST. They are only trained to do ONE thing - how to frustrate their paying guests (customers).
They tell you one story - in the hope that you will go away OR they will simply stonewall you OR they will give you a phone number to call where you will waste any number of hours trying to get a simple thing done. They will also give you a number of “rules” which are cast in stone!!!…must NEVER be broken or TK Airlines will be GUILTY of actually providing “good customer service”!!!
Although there are 2 large TK Airlines business class lounges, these are regularly overwhelmed by the arrival/departure waves of flights. A quick glance at the departures board will show just when there are busy periods - but apparently NOONE in TK Airlines has figured this out. These 2 lounges were adequate when IST first opened but by 2021, the number of flights had started to make them crowded. Now however, they are regularly filled with literally a thousand + guests - hardly the Business Class experience we have paid for!!!
The girls at the lounge desk, in charge of assigning the suites / showers available within the lounge for weary travellers on long flights, a chance to rest. TK airlines staff working in the lounge are trained by experts in how to frustrate the long-suffering customer. They treat this as a “special privilege to be bestowed on whoever they choose” - which are few and far between. I have travelled with TK Airlines business class around the world - on particularly long flights - eg: YVR - IST or my latest KUL - IST - both of which have VERY long transit times of up to 22 hours!
When I came off my nearly 12 hour flight from KUL - IST, I was given the run around as usual, because it did NOT meet the criteria of between 4-9 hours of transit time. Since I had a transit time of over 22 hours, I MUST go to the transfer desk and ask (really BEG ) for a hotel room.
Getting a hotel room - I have done this on a prior flight with extended transit time of 10 hours. Having lived in Istanbul before, I knew that travel times can be a minimum of 1.5 - 3 hours - depending on traffic. Given that, it would mean 3-4 hours of travel time, that would leave a maximum of 6 hours in the hotel. At this point, I was told it wasn’t worth my effort, so best to just stay in the lounge….ie: sit around in the TK lounge for the 10 hours.
It is very apparent to TK airlines business class customers, that TK Airlines don’t care for us - evidenced by the total lack of understanding of how stressful and frustrating it can be to deal with TK airlines staff who don’t give a damn. In fact, the only ones in the lounge who actually do seem to care, are the cleaning and catering staff!! Well done to them. Perhaps the staff seated at the front desk & suites/shower desk can learn something from the catering / cleaning staff??!!
The TK airlines IST lounge staff - especially the ones in charge of the suites within the lounge, are only intersted in “quoting the rules” - totally ignoring the interests of the customer ***** yeah, you know, the people who actually PAID TK Airlines🤬😡for this business class experience.
These girls treat the rooms as something that they are giving out as a special favour, “a gift from GOD”, they are bestowing on the people who actually PAID 4x - 5x times the price of an economy ticket for the same flight!!!
The lounge staff do NOT display any semblance of understanding how FAR some of their business class guests have travelled from or are travelling to. They are totally insensitive to their clients. To them, 24 hours in the lounge is perfectly acceptable as they are NOT SUFFERING.
TK airlines lounge staff are more interested in enforcing “rules” than in helping their paying clients. This poor attitude is clearly tolerated and encouraged by TK Airlines management.
When I questioned why not assign any EMPTY room/suites within the lounge, even for 4 hours, to allow your guests to get a few hours rest? I know there are times when rooms are available, but have been told, those rooms must be kept for the benefit of other future long distance travellers, who do meet the room criteria!!!? Is that so difficult to do?? You already have a pager system to alert guests who want a shower. Why can this same system not be used for rooms so that some guests can get some rest??? or is that too much like common sense for the lounge staff??
It is a very stressful time for any traveller - flying long distances over many hours - crammed together with other passengers. It is especially irritating when TK Airlines lounge staff treat us so poorly and do little or nothing to help - when THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO!!!
Example : US lady (fellow business class passenger) - whose flight was cancelled - got rebooked - they asked her to choose which flight she wanted to take - flight A was a 4 hour wait so she chose that, only to be told ‘ the flight was full’. Next flight was 10 hours so she said “ok put me on that”. She did that only because that was all she was offered. By choosing to go on the later flight, that “invalidated” her right to get a room as, according to TK airlines rules, she had CHOSEN the later flight!? This is the kind of nitwit logic and scams that the TK Airlines staff have used to frrustrate their Business Class customers. All we are looking for is a room to get some rest, but TK airlines is only interested in doing as little as possible for us. They’ve got our money!!
On this visit alone, I saw 5-6 other Business Class customers experince exactly the same problem as I had previously. All the same BS excuses were used - no help is given or anything resembling good customer service!!!.
Given the above, I will now make TK Airlines my last choice and will do my best to ensure that we will only transit through IST - if there are NO OTHER CHOICES.

Worst TK lounge in the world, its suppose to be for business class passegger or Gold member and above, means people Who spento lot of Money in air ticket, poor food and MOST weird they change you 20 euro for a shower, also not very clean, I'll avoid fly to Dubai with TK if they keep marhaba lounge

It’s massive so you will likely find a quiet spot at all times. Extensive variety of food and beverage too. Has something for everyone - sleeping pods, kids area, a small exhibit space, golf simulator - not that I have the energy for golf but an option especially if you are facing a particularly long layover. Although, it’s worth mentioning that Istanbul airport is big with lots of shops, cafes and restaurant options so you don’t really need to be in the lounge and can easily find a quiet area airside.

A lot of food selection; the seating area is large enough to not make it feel overwhelmed. A virtual reality game and golf swing arcade are pluses. However, if power outlets for your devices are as important as food options, you are out of luck. Somebody at Turkish Airlines decided that a business lounge should be a “treasure hunt” for power outlets. They are scarce and hard to find. How does this compare favorably with any business class lounge in most major airports? I wasn’t impressed.
We tried to sign up for the one of the suites, since we were eligible due to a long layover and 10+ hour onward flight. No waiting list, just keep checking back every 30 minutes, said the concierge. How difficult is it to have a waiting list, so that it’s truly first-come, first-served — not a crap-shoot of when you walked over to the concierge? Every facility at every major airport keeps a waiting list; apparently too complicated for Turkish Airlines.
English language skills of some of the front desk staff seemed limited, when I asked for help regarding my booking.
Overall, a good lounge, but hardly at the top of the league.

I am travelling on economy class and have a transit of 3.5 hours on Istanbul airport.
Can I buy access to business lounge?
I have tried using app but it says lounge service is not available for this flight.
Thought worth checking if there is any way?

Hola, quisiera saber el costo para dos personas adultas, padre e hijo adulto. Llegamos de Dubai a Estanbul el 24 de marzo 2024 a las 18:55 para embarcar a Buenos Aires el 25 de marzo de 2024 a las 10:25 hs. Quisieramos saber el costo para estar en el salon por lo menos 10 hs. Agradeceré respuesta y toda propuesta que puedan ofrecerme a los fines de evitar tantas horas de espera de embarque.

Can we leave the lounge from the departure level and then go through immigrations and customs to exit the airport take the free transit city tour?
Or do we need to pass immigrations and customs from the arrival level?
