Lots of fun and a lot of learning about Turkish kitchen, cooking class during our roundtrip in Turkey organised by Alp, the chef and kitchenstaff and expedition far east. Aftewards, ( of course ) a very nice meal! Thanks to a little help of our friends 🤗

We arrived and upon getting aprons and chefs' hats were introduced to the Chef who taught us few Turkish recipes. We participated on the creation of the different delicious dishes. Then we enjoyed eating them. The whole event lasted two and a half hours. We also were provided with the recipes so we can cook them at home. We had lots of fun! It was an experience that without a doubt we would repeat!

We cooked with our guide Alp and his aunt Serpil at her house! It was a great experience, and we were really comfortable spending time with her at home. Food was great, and it was a very memorable experience! We even took leftovers home and ate it on our balcony of our hotel the next evening for dinner!

This was an activity that was organised by Alp who very kindly arranged for a baklava making course at a local Turkish home. We were very privileged to be able to see, experience a local family life as well as learn from a very experienced chef of how to make baklava. The whole family took part and we all enjoyed making the baklava and then eating it!! Yum!! Thank you Alp for such an awesome experience.

We did a private food tour through the spice market and over to the Asian side. It was great to see where more of the locals go and what they eat. So much knowledge and food! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves their food!

Myself and a group of friends attended a cooking class that was coordinated by Alp. The class was hands on and informative. I feel confident that I can replicate these dishes (stuffed epplant, red lentil soup, and some dish that was equivalent to a samosa) and and seasoning to my liking.
