Experience of a lifetime

The tour company stayed up with me to figure out an issue with the kids’ airline tickets and were very accommodating when it came to the details of our trip. Benjamin, the guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the ruins, and the people. He was also a very warm and friendly person to boot. Our driver at Izmir was very professional and helpful as well.

Any concerns we had were fixed on the spot, and we had a great time.

The best is doing everything by plane, it makes all the difference. The hotels were all great and the guide was excellent.

Istanbul Mini Group Tour with Tram

An excellent way in which to see the principal sites in Istanbul with limited time available and easily avoiding the worst of the traffic. Communication in arranging the tour was very straightforward and our guide, Leyla, who provided informed commentary throughout, sought to ensure that we did not have to queue unnecessarily so that we could enjoy maximum time at the various key stops - Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace (with additional stops at a number of other notable sites - Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar). Lunch at the Pudding Shop (aka Lale Restaurant) was a welcome interlude. Most enjoyable. Thanks Leyla.

Highly recommend Betul in Istanbul

Betul from Ephesus Shuttle/Curio travel met us on-time off the cruise ship for a private, customized tour in Istanbul. As an archeologist, she guided us on the tram to Sultamehat area and led us through the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Basilica Cistern, the spice market, Rustum Pasha mosque, and a delicious lunch stop with local cuisine, which was precisely what we asked to do during our short time in town (we decided the line to enter Hagia Sofia was too long to wait, and we preferred not to shop in the Grand Bazaar). She expertly navigated around large groups throughout this amazing city and offered history and information during the entire tour. Betul's English was very clear, and she offered context to what we were seeing. Ask for her by name... We highly recommend her.

Be sure to bring head cover for women in the mosques. And you will need to remove your shoes. But the mosques are so lovely, it's worth it.

14 day small group Boutique Tour of Turkey

We just returned from our 14 day Turkey tour with Curio Travel and we had an amazing time seeing so many different parts and sights in Turkey. We picked this tour because Turkey had been on our bucket list for a long time and it included all the places in Turkey we wanted to visit. We were on a private tour and our guide Orkan took us to local restaurants every day for lunch and suggested different foods for us to try. He was with us the whole trip and guided us through all the places we saw, Istanbul, Cappadocia, Konya , the Turqouise coast , Pamukkale, and Selchuk/Ephesus. It was very windy in Cappadocia so we were unable to take our balloon ride there but we did a balloon ride at sunrise in Pamukkale which was a highlight of our trip. Our driver Ferit was an excellent driver who was with us everywhere but Istanbul and navigated us from Cappadocia to Ephesus. All our airport transfers were perfectly handled and we felt well taken care of the whole time. Thank you Curio Travel for such an enjoyable trip to Turkey!

Memorable visit to Turkey

I wanted to thank you for the wonderful and comfortable trip. We had a great time in Turkey. Mr. Fevzi, tour owner was very proactive, supportive and friendly to us. Mr. Serkan and Mr. Tezcan (our guides )were super cool. They treated us as their family members. Kids enjoyed a lot with Uncles 😊. I would recommend you to my friends who were planning to visit to Turkey.

Thanks again for the great memories that we collected during this trip, it couldn’t have happened without you 😊

Curio Travel (Fevzi) are the absoloute best!!
From whatsapping me the instant I contacted them, to providing us with a customized itinery within a few hours. Their customer relations service is immpeccable.
The hotels suggested were in perfect locations.
The tours were exactly as per the itinery.
We had really amazing tour guides and drivers.
This travel agency is highly recommended if you want to explore mesmerizing Turkey.

Praise GOD for this wonderful 10-day tour from Curio travel! Thank you Fevzi Turhan for helping us with our itinerary in such a short time and making our anniversary unforgettable! Was able to see the beautiful Istanbul, the captivating Cappadocia and the awesome 7 churches in the book of Revelation.Thank you also for the great tour guides and drivers who were very knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and very kind: shout out to Ozkan, Senol, Dr. Kerem, Sadretdin. Of course thank you also for letting us enjoy different Turkish food! This tour is highly recommended!!!
