Questa moschea è visitabile anche dai non fedeli, ovviamente rispettando i dettami della religione islamica (senza calzature e, per le signore, indossando l'apposito capo di vestiario reso disponibile all'ingresso). La struttura architettonica è imponente.

They were welcoming and this was a great point of interest to stop and see. Lovely people and beautiful crafts in the store.

Deux dinars c'est très cher pour une mosquée qui n'a guère d'intérêt lorsque l'on arrive d'Istanbul où la mosquée bleue est magique.

Austero, simple pero precioso. La mezquita mas importante de la capital Jordanesa, localizado en la zona centrica conde se encuentra el parlamento y el ministerio de defensa.
Una gran cupula azul atecha esta mezquita con decoración basica pero elegante a la vez.
El unico inconveniente es que las mujeres tienen que vestir el vestido tipico de la zona.
Recomendable al 100%.

Pagar para visitar uma sala grande, exagerado. O uso de túnica é obrigatório mas gratuito. O museu não é interessante e de resto não tem nada para ver. Entrada e saida por uma loja onde 'oferecem' chá mas depois perguntam se comprou alguma coisa...

This is a very beautiful mosque from the outside and visitors can pay to go inside outside of prayer times.
Visitors enter through the souvenir shop and ladies are issues with head covering gowns (I think men in shorts have to wear the gowns also).
To be honest there’s not much to see inside but it is very peaceful and the beautiful carpet feels amazing underfoot (when you’ve walked 13 miles already)
The souvenir shop feels a bit naff but you get a free little booklet with your entry fee which is interesting to read.

Do not go to there cheap souvenir store, and they are telling lies about their situation, please be careful of the souvenir store. It is such a terrible thing that they are trying to make some money during a nice visit of a mosque, such a shame!

This is such a beautiful building. Visitors who are not Muslim have to enter via the visitor entrance. Clothing should be conservative but they have gowns to wear if you don’t have long sleeves or trousers/ long skirt. There is such a sense of calm inside and there are volunteers on hand to explain parts of the building to you. Well worth a visit.

Immense mosquée où de nombreux fidèles peuvent venir. Elle reste toutefois en retrait par rapport à d'autres de ce Monde mais son design est très beau ! En face l'église vaut également le détour.

La mosquée est accessible mais il faut mettre une tenue adéquate pour les femmes.
Ils vous prêtent une abaya pour que vous puissiez y avoir accès.
C'est beau.
Il y a une boutique de souvenirs mais c'est assez cher et c'est à la tête du client car il n'y a pas de prix d'afficher.

Is the mosque open to visitors on Friday? Lonely Planet says it is possible to visit on Friday other than the prayer time but not sure if it is still the case. Thank you.
