Een pareltje in Beirut. Prachtig modern gebouw, mooie tentoonstelling en erg bijzondere stenen en mineralen. Onvoorstelbaar prachtig, mooi gepresenteerd. Ook als je niet zo geïnteresseerd bent in mineralen, kijk je je ogen uit van zoveel kleuren en vormen. Collectie behelst de hele wereld en kent ook fossielen. Entreeprijs is erg laag.

Beirut’s mineral museum is spectacular. It is a private collection accumulated by Lebanese collector Salim Edde. There is a wide variety of minerals and these are displayed beautifully. Definitely worth a visit.

Incredible museum. We did not plan to visit but we somehow ended up here and I'm so glad we did. I can not overstate how wonderful the collection in this museum this. It has astounding mineral collections from the entire world. I don't usually enjoy museums but I really really loved this one.

Gördüğüm en değişik en güzel müzelerden biri. İçeriye girerken sıradan bir müze olduğunu düşünmüştüm ama hiç de öyle olmadı. İçerideki doğadan alınmış çeşit çeşit madenler ,taşlar muazzam. Mutlaka görülmeli.

It’s good for all ages. I had a lot of fun looking at all this colorful and amazing material. Also, there are different shows and a game. And don’t forget about the different kind of souvenirs.

Simply amazing. Eye-popping.. Informative. I am an artist and rarely say : Wow! Here I did the whole time. One of the best museums I have ever seen.

I’ve been to countless museums in Europe, but I don’t remember being stunned like when I felt when visiting this museum. It’s extremely well organized and the collection is extensive. Keep in mind that this is a private museum, meaning 1 person collected this rare collection over the years by himself. I highly recommend visiting this museum.

We visited this as part of the hop on-hop off bus tour. If the tickets weren't included in the bus tour we would not have gone but... it is really an interesting museum of beautyful stones, fossiles, gems etc. Really nice!

Really nice collection of minerals and crystals. They are presented very well and there is a lot of information. Their exhibit of fossils is really innovative and the film really gives it an extra dimension. Our daughter loved the dinosaur fossil and the video gamed based on it.

I guess it would be more interesting to your oldest child, the younger one would only be seeing different colors, and the fossils projection part might be somehow interesting but not easily grasped for sure.

Yes it is in the city center.
Right next to the national museum. It takes as long as you want. Some people are done in one hour, some take longer, as with any museum.
