Hey Chris, so the food is all included in the price. Also, if you scroll to the bottom of tripadvisor it usually shows which currency is being displayed in. I know that's a problem I've had before. No idea about advance booking though. I'd really suggest this tour though, I had an amazing time on it.

Our Central & Sheung Wan Foodie Tour and Sham Shui Po Foodie Tour offer substitutes for no pork and vegetarian. There's no lamb or beef on the tour. You can choose the dietary preferences when you book the tickets on our website. Thanks!

There was actually a person who was vegetarian on the tour I did. I think she indicated this when booking online as there was a vegetarian option for her at three of the places (the samples at the other places were fruit or dessert based so it wasn't a problem). I believe she confirmed that she was vegetarian at the start of the tour, so the guide could make sure she was catered for.

Hi, contact the tour group, sham shu po tour is on the flat, but slightly crowded as there are the markets there. Some of the places might be a bit cramped but could be doable. The tour staff are very helpful so contact them direct

Hong Kong Foodie has brought many families with kids that age on all three of our Foodie Tours and they genuinely enjoy them. Some of the most challenging questions our Foodie Guides get are often those from children. The children also love to tell us stories of their other travel experiences and they want to share this experience with their friends in school. We suggest parents to make their own judgement on whether their kids enjoy food or not. If they love to eat, love to hear stories and interact with strangers, they will enjoy the tour as they will participate and ask challenging questions like an adult. Some younger children aged 4 or 5 may find the walk too long. Many parents also think this is a great opportunity for children to meet locals and learn a new culture. Food is from restaurants. It was all delicious. Last part of tour the guide assists you which foods would be safe to purchase from a street venue.

Hey there! The meeting point is easy to get to. We stayed near our hotel and it took about 20 minutes. 20 minutes well worth the trip.
