Great Way To See Yogja!

It was lovely to spend two days with Teguh and Odai seeing the sites of Yogyakarta. We asked specifically to see the local Javanese culture and were privileged to visit a school, his family and learn how to grow and harvest rice. The bike ride was so fun and I'll never forget the market! They were on time, the car was very comfortable and we felt totally safe in their care. Definitely recommend!

De beste ervaring (en vriend) in Indonesië!

Wat een fantastische twee dagen hebben we met hem meegemaakt. We krijgen een glimlach op onze gezicht als we eraan terug denken.

We werden de eerste dag verwelkomt met typisch vers Indonesisch eten (dragon fruit, tempé) om onze tour te bespreken. Hij nodige ons uit om met hem het dorp te bekijken, boerderij te zien en locals te ontmoeten. Daarnaast nodige hij ons uit voor een speciale dans in het dorp, wat een ervaring was. Onze eerste dag konden niet meer stuk, we mochten zelfs mee dansen (wat we totaal niet konden😂), maar het was wel bijzonder.

De tweede dag hebben we de twee tempels bezocht. Tegu was ruim op tijd en had allemaal lekkere dingen (snoepjes, banaan, tempe) voor ons meegenomen. In de ochtend nam hij ons mee naar de lokale markt en hebben we prabandan bezocht, waar hij een hele leuke gids voor ons had geregeld. In de middag zijn we naar een lokaal restaurant geweest en tijdens de rit kregen we zelfs een rondleiding op een tabaksplantage. Tijdens de rit hebben we veel gelachen, gekletst, Indonesische woorden geleerd en zijn we door tegu zijn levensstijl geïnspireerd!

Onze reis was echt aangepast op onze eigen wensen! We hebben alles kunnen zien, maar we hebben vooral de Indonesische cultuur leren kennen (en dat maak je niet zomaar mee).

Teguh geeft je een ervaring die je nooit gaat vergeten! Bedankt! Muchas gracias! Merci beaucoup! Grazi mille and trimakasi🙏🏻.

TW driver jogja merupakan jasa tour & guide (all in termasuk driver) yang kebetulan melayani rekan saya selama di jogja. Servicenya ramah, guidenya juga menguasai bahasa asing terutama bahasa inggris dengan lancar. Rekomended pokoknya.

Sono stata a Yogyakarta con tutta la famiglia e Teguh si è reso cura di noi portandoci in posti stupendi con tanta attenzione anche per i nostri bambini. Lo consiglio vivamente e se tornerò a Giava vorrò fare altri tour con lui! E' una persona molo gentile, attenta che renderà il vostro viaggio davvero unico, grazie Teguh! :)

Two days with Teguh (is not enough time!)

We spent just two days with Teguh and wished we had more time! The level of service he provided was EXCELLENT, and he quickly became a friend. He is extremely knowledgeable about his country and has a passion for sharing his culture. He picked us up at Yogyakarta airport and we visited the Temple complex of Prambanan. Teguh had a lovely basket of fresh Indonesian fruit waiting for us when we arrived to eat in on our journey. He delivered us to our hotel and made arrangements for us to visit Borobudur Temple the next morning for sunrise. We spent the morning after the sunrise visiting a local market and having breakfast and then Teguh took us to see the rice fields and we even got to learn how to harvest! It was a wonderful experience. The warmth of the Javanese people is something we will never forget. As for all of the particulars: He was on time, the car was comfortable, AC was great, he knew how to get around traffic jam areas, and he has the best personality. We loved him and highly recommend him to anyone visiting Indonesia!

Teguh and his team will stick with you until the end! What a phenomenal team! They take you everywhere! No matter the time of day or how long the adventure, Teguh is your man ♥️ seriously!!! Up and down the rice terraces, impromptu visits to schools, 3am visits to colourful markets, and long hikes up to temples. Never fear, Teguh is here! With joy, love, care, and attention, Teguh listens to your wishes, hopes, and dreams and makes them happen! We have travelled far and wide and mar many wonderful guides, and Teguh is up there with the very BEST!!!! 5 GLOWING STARS!!!

One of the great getaway experience in Indonesia

We spent three days with Pak Teguh for our Jogjakarta visit and we have been impressed with the level of service he has provided. I would have to give a thumb up for his car's air conditioning and cleanliness. I found these very important for any road trip. During our visit, Pak Teguh always showed up early in our hotel lobby, waiting for us with a wide unstoppable smile. He is such a pleasant guide you wish to have on your vacation. Of course, his knowledge of the local culture and history would answer our curiosity about the Javanese culture, especially with Jogjakarta Sultanate.

Our tours include the Borobudur sunrise, Selogriyo trekking, Prambanan, Merapi Lava Tour, and city tour. The rice terrace scene in Selogriyo is amazing. Even though we traveled with small children, Pak Teguh and his crew helped our family to get the best experience in the paddy field. The gazebo lunch in the middle of green with local provided food is one of the genuine honest culinary you can get in the heart of Java. At night, my son and I also unexpectedly made a night round ("Ronda") in the suburb neighborhood. What an experience.

We did not expect our Jogjakarta trip becomes so much memorable if not because of Pak Teguh. Though he repeatedly showed gratitude, I am actually the one who thanked him for giving us such a life experience in Indonesia.

To all who would like to visit Jogjakarta, I highly recommend his service.

If you really want to understand Jogja from a native's perspective, Teguh is the man to go with. Proud and passionate to showcase the natural gems of his home, getting to know him and his team will give you a glimpse of the real Jogja and her peoples..

From showing us their favourite local hiking trails like Mt Andong, responsibilities within village life, local delicacies and cultural histories.. His actions and camaraderie with his fellow country people shows you how Jogja and her people evolved to be the hospitable people today.

Truly an experience knowing Tenguh and team. Although their fees may be on the higher end,he makes sure to differentiate that they are than just drivers and tour guides but true Javanese who want to share their lives with you.

We've had the best experience ever in Jogja, Teguh provide us all his attention, he is on time, we had really fun with him, he tough us lot of culture from javanesse people, words, he was looking after of us, showing us hiden places like a local restaurants, markets, adventure on rice fields, he is friendly, good english, enjoyable and funny man, and he provided us lots of details (cold water, medicins, sweets, javanesse food, welcoming bascket...)
Thanks Teguh!!! We won't forget these lovely days with you!!
