Had so much fun in Singapore riding with Telepod. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city ! Just make sure to set the app up using wifi, as we struggled a little bit on normal data network, and you're good to go. Relatively cheap as well, nothing wrong to say about this service.

I saw quite a lot of Telepod in Marina Bay area, so I downloaded their app and try. It was really fun scooting around and exploring places with my girlfriend! Their rate is $0.15/min, is the cheapest among other scooter sharing or rental shop. Their pay-per-use option doesn't require any deposit, which is great for visitors like me. Wish I have discovered this earlier.

Telepod is a great idea, in theory. Very fun to ride around and you can get an unlimited 24 hour pass for $25. It’s a great way to get around however, can be tough to locate the scooters AND there are some issues with the app and battery life on the scooters.

Hiya, Jess! Thank you for your review. Finding scooters during peak hours can be a little hard but do use the app as a guide to the location of the scooter and it's battery level. To add, we've managed to add a report fault function for users to inform the team of faulty scooters. Just tap on the scooter and tap the "!" icon next to it. The button for "scooter report faults" will be on the right hand corner of the pop-up. Apart from that, we hope you had a great time with Telepod.

L'application est un peu laborieuse a télécharger, mais une fois que c'est fait c'est un vrai bonheur !! Je recommande fortement !
A savoir : le service client est super réactif, je leur devais quelques centimes et au lieu de me faire recharger 10 €, ils ont juste prélever les centimes sur ma caution et m'ont répondu en 3 minutes ! MERCI BEAUCOUP !!

QRコードを読み込むだけで開錠。ただ、シンガポールの電話番号を持っていないとアクティベートできませんのでご注意ください。20km/h くらいは出るので相当快適です。普段の通勤に使っています。バス停や駅にある自転車置場など、決まった場所に置かないとペナルティを食らいます。

Unlock by just reading the QR code. However, please note that you can not activate without having a Singapore phone number. About 20 km / h goes out so it's quite comfortable. I am using it for my regular commute. If you do not put it in a fixed place, such as a bus stop or a bicycle storage place at the station, you will get a penalty.
Hi, Ki_g89! Thank you for your review. We're glad to know you've enjoyed using Telepod. As for your comment that a user needs a Singaporean number to use our services, it is not needed as long as you've activated your roaming plans before heading to Singapore.
We do penalize our users who park indiscriminately to ensure the streets are not littered with scooters in the same way they are littered with bikes. We encourage our users to park at bike racks and/or yellow painted boxes for bicycle parking. We hope these help with some of your concerns. Have a nice day!

I first requested a refund of the bond after use in July. It is now September and I am not having any luck. I have followed the steps to get bond back in the FAQ- not getting anywhere - a very expensive short ride given that my bond seems lost forever.

To address your concerns, we understand that during peak hours that it gets a little hard to find our scooters.
I personally find that using the app's overview map is a great help when planning my trip around town. The map indicates how many scooters are available within the area and also include their battery percentage.
At the moment, you won't have to worry about the low battery levels of your scooter as our operations team are working at lightning speed to recover low battery scooters and replenishing them.
We do have a report scooter feature that you can use to report any scooter that you deem faulty. Just tap on the scooter on the map and tap on the "!" icon on the top right. A picture of the scooter will pop-up with a report fault button that will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the pop-up. Hope you have a nice day!

A great way to catch the sights of Singapore! I did a loop: to National Stadium then Marina Bay Sands and then back to Telepod. It would have taken under 3 hours if not for the unexpected showers that we had to seek shelter from. First time on the e-scooter and quite shortly, was able to accelerate on the scooter. It helped that the rented device was a well-maintained piece of equipment. Although it felt a little heavy after a while, but overall, quite manageable even for petite-sized Asians. Plus, the staff at Telepod were very friendly and helpful. Another plus was that the entire process to collect and return was very hassle-free. Would I do this again? Absolutely!
