Great Place for Table Linens

We visited Arab Street and its surrounds on 1 April 2021. Dilip Textiles/ Brothers stood out for their tonnes of good quality, beautiful table linens. The elderly gentleman and a younger man were both friendly and provided excellent service. Besides emphasising how we should care for the linens, it was obvious that the elderly gentleman took great pride in his work, folding back and carefully wrapping our purchases very nicely. He even offered the three of us ice cold water! I am definitely going back again to buy more if my helper does not complain about washing too many things! Shout out to the 2 gentlemen manning the shop from the 3 ladies, 1 of which has completely white hair! Thank you!

たくさんの種類の布を置いてあります。最初私自身購入予定はなかったのですが、友人と一緒にいくと……気になる布がいっぱいじゃないですか！！！
ソファーカバーにほしいなぁ。テーブルクロスもほしいなぁ。そんな思いの中、直感を頼りに二種類を選択。もう決めたら他はみない！と決めないと次々かわいい布が出てきてしまいます。
お値段もお手頃、素敵ですので是非一度お邪魔してください。

Un de mes magasins préférés ! Des indiennes toutes plus belles les unes que les autres: nappes (tailles et formes différentes), sets de table, tapis, foulards, paréos, coussins... Coton ou soie, vous y trouverez même du tissu au mètre. Un magasin de rêve pour la couturière que je suis. Accueil et service au top.

ソファカバー、ベッドカバーやテーブルクロス、日本用のテーブルクロス、クッションカバーにハンカチ、絨毯まで様々なサイズや柄を扱っている布屋さん。柄がどれも美しくてなかなか決められません。
どんなに買ってもディスカウントはしないけど、数ドル単位の値段の変動はあるようです。
夢中で2時間くらい滞在してしまいましたが、スタッフさんは親切で丁寧なアドバイスを沢山してくれました。結局自分用、ギフト用合わせて300ドル程購入しましたが、許されるならもっと買いたかったなぁ。

This is my holiday go-to for gifts to send back home. They have gorgeous scarves, sarongs, table linens and more. Every time I go in, I am greeted warmly by the Dilip staff. They stand by their products 100% and always insist that if anything goes wrong with any of their items, simply bring them back for a replacement or exchange. All of the textiles are really outstanding quality and are priced very reasonably given the quality. Just be sure to check back often as they are always updating their styles, patterns and colors!

The selection of fabric is amazing. I have bought several table cloths and napkins over the years. Excellent quality and make wonderful gifts., if you can bear to part with them.
