Best horseback experience of our lives!

Words cannot express how great this experience was, but I will try my best to sum it up. We found the lovely Loth through another outfitter as we were wanting an overnight horseback tour for several days over the new year and by pure luck as we walked the streets of Pucon, we were connected with Loth (owner of Maichin). We are not experienced horse riders and our daughter had never been on a horse before but Loth's horses were amazing and he takes excellent care of them! They are true lead horses and respond to Loth by name and sounds, it was great! This was a true back country horse riding experience and you will not be disappointed! Loth alone made the trip amazing for my family and I. He has great stories (he was very patient with us and spoke better English than our Spanish). His family is amazing as well! We had great meals and plenty to drink! We probably spent over 40 miles on horseback seeing the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life! We made many stops at archaeological sites and points of interest. We spent 2 days at the Hualalafquen Lake and practically had it to ourselves. We rode on trails that probably have not been ridden on by horses in quite some time, and Loth knew his way around. We felt very comfortable and safe. We wanted our New Years to be spent outdoors in Chile on horses, but this experience by far outweighed our expectations!! By the end of our 4 days, it was nice to get to a nice bed and a hot shower (which Loth arranged) and we even got to experience some hot springs and a Chilean fiesta. If you are looking for a true-rugged-back country-horse-ride, you want to experience it with Loth! Thank you many times over, Loth, for the best experience my family and I have ever had! We are hoping to come back in the future and do the volcano trek with you. Remember, if you are ever in Idaho, you are welcome in our home! Best to you and your family!
