Wonderful tour of Chile..

We took a day tour with Michael from Santiago Chile to San Antonio. We were boarding a cruise the next morning. Michael's tour was a fantastic way to see the sights of Chile between the cities. We wanted to see Valparasio and visit wineries. Everything about the tour was wonderful. Excellent communication, clean van with a safe driver. He shared his extensive knowledge of Chile. The winery we visited was excellent and provided a lovely wine tasting just for the six of us. Due to the pandemic many wineries in the area were still closed for a tasting experience. He made a wonderful winery visit. We all bought wine to bring on our cruise. We had a lovely day with Michael and his driver. He was very focused on making our experience enjoyable and something that we chose. His tour was very enjoyable!! One of the best guides on our 26 day trip.

Wir waren vom 30.11.-01.12.2022 im Rahmen einer Weltreise mit AIDAmar in San Antonio. Am zweiten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir mit einem der Gründer von "The German Pirates" Michael einen wunderschönen Ausflug nach Valparaiso&Vina del Mar unternommen. Michael hat ein vielseitiges Wissen über Land und Leute und kennt einige Insider Tipps die er in seine Führung einbaut. Es war einfach nur traumhaft.

Friendly and interesting transfer to Valpo

Michael met us at the airport and drove us to Valparaiso with stops at two wineries and lunch at Quintay fishing village. Provided plenty of interesting comments about the region. Knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient, it was a lovely afternoon!

Michael, the German Pirate was a wonderful tour guide
6 of us spent a splendid day with Michael, the German Pirate. He picked us up from our hotel in Santiago and drove us to San Antonio via Valparaiso, Vina Del Mar, and William Cole Vineyard. It was a wonderful day and we felt very safe on his tour. His tour covered the highlights of Valparaiso and the murals. We rode a cable car down the hill, sat by the ocean and had a snack, and then sat outside at a beautiful vineyard drinking some very good wine. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and guide!

Quality tour of Vao-P - not to be missed
Our tour with Michael was fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip to Chile
Anyone visiting Valparaiso, especially, first timers, should sign up for his tour. He is pasdionate and highly knowledgeable about the city’s history and will make sure you see the best of the city and appreciate how it came into existence and the changes that have influenced its growth and current situation.
On our tour, we passed larger organized groups who appeared to linger almost too long at certain sites trying to digest the plethora of historical information imparted by their guides……information tjat Michael was able to explain succinctly whilst moving is on to new locales. In the end, after 3-4 hours, including a coffee break at a neighborhood cafe, we felt very satisfied and happy for the tour he gave. We highly recommend!

So wünscht man sich einen Stadtführer...
Die Tour mit Michael durch Valparaiso war perfekt: kurzweilig, interessant und abwechslungsreich. Michael kennt gefühlt Jeden und weiß zu jedem Haus, jedem Hügel und jeder Gasse die bzw. eine Geschichte.
Dazu punktet er mit Witz und Anekdoten, nimmt sich für alle Fragen viel Zeit, gibt auch umfangreiches Zusatzwissen (bei Bedarf!) und wir waren sogar mit ihm noch in einem hübschen Café (Café Zeit) ein Abschlussbierchen trinken.
Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne und spannende Zeit mit dem "german pirate" als Stadtführer und möchten nochmal Danke dafür sagen!

Excellent
Michael was an excellent tour guide. He was prompt, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him for any touring in Chile. We used him for Valparaiso and the vineyards.

Thank you Michael for making our trip special.

trotz der zur Zeit schwierigen Situation mit Protesten und Unruhen haben wir unser Reiseprogramm nicht geändert und begannen unsere 4-wöchige Chile-Reise in Valparaiso. Die Stadtführung mit Michael, "the german Pirat", war ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art. Perfektes Insiderwissen spannend vermittelt ließ den Tag wie im Flug vergehen. Danke !

Supertour in schwierigen Zeiten!

Wir haben mit 4 Personen, nach einer Kreuzfahrt, mit Michael ein Tagestour in Valparaiso gemacht. Aufgrund der momentanen Unruhen waren wir etwas zögerlich -aber Michael hat uns mit viel Fingerspitzengefühl diese tolle Stadt in all ihren Facetten gezeigt. Wir haben super Insider-Einblicke bekommen und einen unvergesslichen Tag in Valparaiso und Viná Mar verbracht.
Sehr empfehlenswert war auch der zuverlässige Fahrservice von Evaristo!
Wünschen Euch weiterhin viel Erfolg und hoffentlich bald wieder ruhigere Zeiten in Chile.
