Muzej vazduhoplovstva je građen u periodu 1969-1989. godine u okviru kompleksa beogradskog aerodroma „Nikola Tesla“, prema projektu arhitekte Ivana Štrausa i konstruktorskim rešenjima beogradskih građevinskih inženjera. Zahvaljujući atraktivnosti lokacije i arhitektonskog rešenja, kao i bogatstvu izložbene postavke, odmah po otvaranju postao je jedna od vodećih muzejskih ustanova u zemlji.

Όλο το Βελιγράδι είναι ένα μαύρο χάλι... Ουρανοξύστες ξέρουν να φτιάχνουν αλλά αλλά τα μυαλά τους όχι. Και ο αέρας είναι με λεφτά. Τούς τουρίστες τούς βλέπουν σαν μία αγελάδα για άρμεγμα.. όσο για το μουσείο, μόνο μουσείο δεν είναι δείτε φωτογραφίες και θα καταλάβετε

U muzeju se osjeća miris stare Jugoslavije. Imteresantna postavka. Spoljašnje uređenje može biti bolje, ali za izuzetno prihvatljive cijene ulaznica ne treba očekivati više! Preporuka za obilazak.

First there is no road sign from any direction for the museum.
You must follow the sign for the Belgrade Airport and then when you take exit from the highway, after 500m follow the direction for the parking and turn left. The museum is on the right and the parking is free. Only a few spots available but there isn't a lot of people visiting this museum. Which is a pity because it is the best one in the country!!!
Ticket price is 3 EUR per person and 7 EUR if you want to take a pictures inside.
You have a ground floor with small exhibition and flight simulator, which is a 18 EUR per 15 min in a Boing, then first and second floor. And a small part outside that you can walk.
But is really good and you should visit if you have time, because it is about 30 min from the city center and you will need a vehicle.
Airplanes are old and outdated, and if you like that kind of exhibition you will have a great time.

Museum of Aviation is located in the surroundings of Belgrade, close to the Airport, so it was the last visit in our trip in Serbian Country, just before going to airport. We visited it in November-2019 and it was a very interesting museum, because here you can learn a lot about aviation, especially airplanes used in wars (i.e. Balcan Wars or World Wars). Really a place to learn about aviation and technical concepts, and the perfect place to airplane-lovers. The building is a bit degraded, so I think that it should be better maintained. However walking around it seeing a lot of airplanes is very nice.

c'est à côté de l'aéroport, donc avant de partir ou en arrivant, mais c'est un musée avec beaucoup de pièces, il est certes en assez mauvaise état, c'est dommage, mais c'est à voir, vous ne perdrez pas votre temps.

Some nice and rare aircraft. Excitong architecture! But all of them are dusty and badly exposed. And we really need english descriptions of items. There is anouced USA invisible F117 Nighthawk inside... No lot of remain, just a part of wing :-)

During cold war Yugoslavia received planes from east and west. Also produced own models. Part of exhibition are the remnants of NATO planes and cruising rockets downed over Yugoslavia during 1999. war.

The aviation museum showcases the aviation technological history of Yugoslavia for nearly a century.
Although the facility is not grand, it houses an amazing collection of things not to be seen anywhere else.
In addition to Yugoslav-designed and produced aircraft you never heard of, there are a number of both eastern and western aircraft, as befitted Yugoslavia's unique position during the Cold War.

Bus72 from Zeleni Venac to the airport (last stop) then ask for direction at the airport info desk. Under 10min walk from the airport terminal. RSD150 one way out to airport and 40min ride.
