NIce building but the content is minimal, particularly bearing in mind the high entry price. I wished I'd just walked there, taken a photo and walked on by.

I was interested in the architectural exterior and spent time and walked around the ground floor where there is a free exhibition. I was less inclined to pay an entrance fee for what appeared to be a “climate change” tongue lashing only to have seen some of the most appalling trash heaps and garbage throughout the city. When the tide is out, what washes up is an epic failure. Just wondering how much this museum cost to construct vs utilizing the “moneys” for cleanup crew at the waters edges? The hypocrisy is painful.

Un paseo por los diversos hábitats de Panamá, con actividades para los más pequeños y mucho que leer sobre la historia geológica y biodiversidad de Panamá. Una cafetería con café y otros productos de la zona. Bonitas vistas desde sus terrazas y al salir se puede ir al paseo Amador, que también es una atracción en sí mismo.

Well laid out (if not brilliantly signposted) interesting interactive displays, helpful staff. The young woman in the cafe was doing a sterling job on her own serving a huge queue and with a smile.
Very informative. The gardens are lovely with much birdlife around the lily ponds.

Un edificio complesso che si inserisce perfettamente nel contesto e che rispecchia anche nelle forme quanto si vuole raccontare nel museo che contiene. Biomuseo di natura: geologia, zoologia, botanica, superfice e profondità del mare. Ma anche storia dell'uomo in queste terre che in certe zone sono ancora naturali con pochi interventi della mano dell'uomo. Molto interessante.

We enjoyed seeing the BioMuseo - be sure to go into each section as there are different displays in each one. Very well put together and interesting to learn about the history and up to date info about the flora and fauna of Panama.

L’architecture est bluffante.
Acheter son billet sur internet avant ne sert à rien, on fait la même queue à la même caisse que ceux qui n’ont pas de billets, et c’est le même prix.
Très belle succession d’expositions, dynamiques, ludiques et instructives.
Nous n’avons pas eu le temps de faire les extérieurs, nous reviendrons pour les 2.

This museum was a surprise for us. The architecture, courtesy of Frank Gehry, is something to behold, but please don't limit yourself to seeing it from the outside. There is something to learn in this museum for people of all ages. My 11-year-old was enraptured by every room. The site is small, but we could have spent a full half a day there with all of the content.

Do you have to buy a ticket online the day you plan to visit? Or can you buy online in advance and go when you want?

I simply bought a ticket at the museum on the Sunday morning that I visited. I do see "general admission" tickets are available on-line at their website, but it's not clear if they are for a specific day.

Is there a bag check at the biomuseo? We are visiting on a layover so we will have luggage with us that we don't really want to carry through the museum...

La entrada general para el museo es de US$ 18.00 en temporada baja (mayo a noviembre). Incluye una audioguía que te guía por la exhibición central.
El parque botánico es gratuito, así como la galería La Huella Humana. el edificio también tiene áreas que puedes visitar sin necesidad de comprar un boleto.
El Biomuseo está a 15 minutos del centro de la ciudad, pero en horas pico ese tiempo puede ser mayor por el tráfico.
