Not sure what was worse the service or the food. We came for a quick lunch today arriving just as the opened. The waiter forgot parts of our orders and forgot one meal entirely. It took 25 minutes to get a round of drinks. We asked for separate checks and most of them were incorrect. Terrible from start to finish. Oh yeah. The food came out luke warm and bland. My bacon cheeseburger was tasteless. Yuck.

We stopped at this charming pub for a late lunch of Fish and Chips. We had the calamari appetizer which was as good as we get on the west coast in Monterey. The fish and chips were wonderful. Didn't care for the coleslaw; used to a cold slaw and the one we were served was warm. The fish was fresh and tasty and the chips were quartered potato strips rather than fries. They were hot and crispy. The guys enjoyed Guinness on tap. The pub had a very nice atmosphere and the wait staff were very helpful. We will definitely dine here again on our future trips to Maryland.

This is a great bar/pub for drinks at night or during a quiet afternoon. At night there is sometimes karaoke and the atmosphere is pretty authentic compared to the time I spent living in Ireland. It's dark and cosy and they have good authentic Irish brews. Took my Irish boyfriend when he was visiting the states and he thought the Guinness was as good as it can be over here.
