Pristine gezilebilecek yerler olarak çok fazla seçenege sahip bir sehir degil.. Bu bakimdan zaten bize fazlaca yakin taraflari bulunan bu sehirde Fatih Cami gibi güzel eserlerimiz görülmeli.. Caminin ici oldukça küçük..Dis kismini kesinlikle daha cok begendim..

Great place to visit. It showes a lot about the culture and history of Kosovo. It is also located close to the city center and close to other old mosques too.

Beautiful mosque from the Ottoman era at the heart of the city. Beautiful internal decorations and external vaults. The architecture, rug, and the chandelier are all lovely.

La moschea è stata costruita nel 1461 ed è stata dichiarata monumento nazionale già prima dell'indipendenza del Kosovo. La si raggiunge in pochi minuti dal centro ed è facilmente visitabile all'interno. Attenzione a non confonderla con la prima moschea che si incontra arrivando dal centro (Xhamia e Çarshisë), questa è dopo il museo del Kosovo. Sicuramente l'edificio antico più interessante nella città.

I also visited the huge Imperial Mosque also known as is an Ottoman mosque located in Pristina, Kosovo. It was open, so I took my shoes off and went in. It is very nice inside. It was built in 1461 by Sultan Mehmet II Fatih. The mosque was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990 by the Republic of Serbia. During the Austro-Turkish wars, at the end of the 17th century, it was temporarily turned into a Catholic church. One of the most prominent Albanian writers, Pjetër Bogdani, also an active leader of the pro-Austrian rebels, was buried here. After the Ottomans regained control, in 1690, the bones of Pjetër Bogdani were exhumed and thrown into the street by the Ottoman soldiers.

Dzięki uprzejmości lokalnego Imama mogliśmy zobaczyć wnętrze świątyni i wysłuchać wyjaśnień dotyczących zasad Islamu i wykorzystywania samej świątyni. Było sympatycznie i normalnie bez "nawracania". Dziękuje za świetną lekcję zasad kultury i tolerancji.

I took a walking tour in Pristina and was told that tourists can visit the mosque, and that there would be scarfs available to cover yourself up etc. When I arrived, however, it was made very clear by some men at the front door that I am not welcomed there. I took a quick look from the door and left. The mosque and the surroundings were nice though.
