Visited after lunch , went to new and old Anarkali , bought more things like clothes , shoes from new Anarkali , had dessert and snacks from old Anarkali like rice pudding . Overall it’s a good experience

This bazaar is well worth a visit. You need to witness the frenzy of activity to believe it. Shopping, eating or just watching the locals go about their business its an eye opener.
There is a tomb somewhere which you will only find when you get lost cos no local has a clue where it is! Story goes that Anarkali was a woman who worked as an escort and is said to have had an affair with Crown Prince Jahangir, the son of then Mughal Emperor Akbar.
So try to find the tomb as its worth a visit.
For foodies, there is a spot selling the most insane chole bature which is definitely the in Lahore.

Lovely and historical place, Located on the Mall Road. Anarkali is divided into two sections old Anarkali and new Anarkali. I started visiting this place from my university days.This is my favorite budget market in Lahore where you can find local brand's clothes, shoes and daily life stuff in very affordable prices. Now there is Metro bus service is available in Lahore, by using metro bus service you can visit Anarkali in very affordable price. I recommend this place for all ages. Everyone should visit this place.

衣料品などが主で食料品はありません。狭い路地にバイクが行き来してすごいです。品物を見ているような余裕はなく、ひたすら雑踏とバイクに要注意の見学でした。少し広めの場所に多くのバイクがありましたが、バザールで働いている人の通勤用でした。治安の悪さは特段感じなかったです。

Great place for jewellry ,shoes and clothes for a wedding

I have visited this place almost once a week or more when i was in my university ..,you can find all types of artificial jewellry ,shoes from local brands and non branded ones at a very reasonable price ,bags and especially wedding clothes for great hand work ... u can also get custom wedding jewellry made from here (artifical)...

One of the best and budget markets of Lahore, where one could purchase from the food to shoes, garments and even books, displayed on the footpaths and by small shops at the end of the street.
It has the access to the old city, especially the areas like Urdu bazaar, Gawalmandi etc.
So give it a try once you are in Lahore, to see the true Lahore.

Leggendo le guide turistiche mi aspettavo un tipico bazar centroasiatico, pieno di merci di diversi tipi, di gente, di colori, eccetera... grande è stata la mia delusione quando ho toccato con mano la realtà di questo mercatino. Posto lungo una strada piuttosto polverosa e sporca, non offre molto nè sotto l'aspetto "esotico" nè sotto quello dello shopping. E' sostanzialmente una sequela di paccottiglia e di negozi di stoffe e abbigliamento. Ce ne sono tanti in Asia di enormemente più attraenti e interessanti. Per finire smentiamo la leggenda della contrattazione: se provi ad acquistare qualcosa ti dicono il prezzo e poi aggiungono subito che sono disposti a farti lo sconto del 10%. E lì finisce la contrattazione.
