.Los jóvenes ya no aprenden como lo hacíamos años atrás. Para hacerlo entretenido es necesario transformarlo en interactivo. Shuar colecciones son muy buenas, pero se pierden entre tanta información.

Impressive 500 year old stone moai brought from Easter Island greets you at the door. Sadly I wish I could say more. The exhibits were interesting but mostly in Spanish and the gift shop was dismal. I think the town could do more with this place to garner more interest

Stopped at this museum on the way to the beach and were not disappointed. The moai statue is very nice and the museum is quite good. Small but many interesting facts and artifacts from easter Island.

Это же легенда! В детстве я читал Тур Хейердала, читал про этих истуканов. А теперь вижу одного из них воочию! Восторг! Круто, конечно бы, долететь до острова «Пасхи», но собственно, вот этого символа мне вполне достаточно для начала 🗿 У этой штуки даже свой эмодзи есть!

One of the few real Moai statues outside Easter Island.
Nice for a picture, but do not take a detour to see it.

vor dem ohnehin sehr sehenswerten Museum Fonck, steht dieser Moai. Man kann dicht herangehen und sehen, wie der Basaltstein bearbeitet wurde.

Prato cheio para quem gosta de história, de povos primitivos e de suas obras. É o jeito mais fácil de ver esse monumento sem ir até a Ilha. Com certeza vale a visita e apreciar o trabalho dos antepassados, tentando entender os motivos e as aspirações dos rapa nui ao criar tantas estátuas como esta.

Para quem gosta de história e arqueologia é uma visita interessante, por ser um dos poucos Moais fora da Ilha de Páscoa, o que torna a experiencia única.

Como nunca fui à Ilha de Pascoa , valeu a pena, pois assim pude ver um Moai. Fica em uma praça , um local bem turístico , com venda de souvenires.

Hello,
Sorry I have not been to Easter island. What I read about them was its a good 4-5 hours flight with decent pricing and since it was 4 of us, it would have been decent budget hit just to see one thing.
Hotels there though limited in number but were available when I looked into expedia and booking.
