After hoping / wishing to visit Vietnam for 15 years we finally completed our dream trip this winter break. Luckily we decided to go with the tour group “See Asia Differently” to plan our trip. We had looked at other tour companies but thought that they were too expensive or they involved a group tour, rather than private tour. We provided See Asia Differently with our desires – visiting North, Central, and Southern Vietnam; and the need for interesting and engaging activities for our 4 teenage kids – and they did the rest. Our trip took us from Hanoi to Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour group chose all the accommodations and made all the internal Vietnam flight reservations. Each day we started with a tasty breakfast, which was satisfying for everyone in our family of 6. The food was so good and plentiful that we often did not want or need to have lunch, but instead an early dinner.
What were some of the activities the kids enjoyed? Hiking in the jungle, birdwatching, looking for and finding Delacour’s Langur monkey (only 200 left in the wild), kayaking, exploring caves, watching monkeys roam around pagodas, squid fishing, swimming, rickshaws, cruising in Ha Long Bay and being surprised with a birthday cake for our youngest, squeezing in the Cu Chi Tunnels, being the only ones in a 5,000 capacity church, seeing how many items people could carry on a motorbike, and even learning to cross the busy streets. Our guide in Ho Chi Minh even taught our kids how to play “foot badminton”.
As parents we enjoyed these activities too, even more so, because we did not have to worry about the logistics of how to get there, when to get there, who to pay, how much to pay, and where to go when we got hungry. All of this was taken care of by the tour guides. If we were hungry for lunch, then they would ask us what type of food we wanted and called ahead and made reservations, so when we arrived all was prepared. My only concern is that the kids do not expect this type of premium service now that we have returned back home.
Now for the fun part of reliving the memories as we go through the 10,000+ photos that were taken. I would definitely recommend See Asia Differently – they kept us healthy, well fed, and provided exceptional service throughout the trip so that all of us had the opportunity of a life time.

My wife, 17 year old daughter and I had amazing, personalized service from the moment we landed on Day 1 to the minute we were dropped off at the airport to come home on Day 9. Peter was extremely accommodating, and ensured we were provided with excellent English speaking guides and drivers. We had a short visit in Bangkok to see an old friend, followed by a once in a lifetime Cambodian experience in Siem Reap. Our Guide was a fountain of historial knowledge and ou driver was attentive and kind. Vietnam (Hoi An) was no different, with our guide providing an unforgettable couple of days. Hands doen one of the easiest and most worry free trips Iwe have taken. Cannot recommend See Asia differnetly strongly enough!

We had a great family trip to Vietnam and really enjoyed the sights, people, food and experiences we had in the 2 and a bit weeks we were there.
Thank you to Peter and the See Asia Differently team for helping us structure and plan the trip, and to the wonderful team on the ground who supported us. We were looked after from the time we landed in the country until the time we left.
This support ensured we could focus on just enjoying ourselves and not have to worry about logistics as we went from place to place. The guides (and drivers) were great: personable, informative, adaptive to our needs/interests, and they provided loads of interesting insights about the country, its people and the way it works. We also appreciated their advice on where to eat when we needed suggestions.
The flexibility is important, as not everyone has the same interests, and this meant they would always adapt the pace and focus depending on what they felt we would appreciate.

Excellent trip organised for me by See Asia Differently. I visited Cambodia for 6 days and everything went smoothly with both guides and drivers delivering exceptional levels of service. Highly Recommended.

A friend recommended See Asia Differently to me to help plan my trip to Laos and Cambodia and I'm so happy she did. Peter was super helpful and listened to all of my concerns and booked the perfect trip for me and my son. He was very easy to contact and prompt to respond despite the massive time difference between us. The tours and tour guides he set us up with wonderful and friendly and great with my son. The hotels were delightful. I've already told him I am planning on using the company again to help plan some more trips and I will recommend See Asia Differently to anyone who is looking to go to Southeast Asia!

See Asia Differently helped us plan an 8 day trip in Cambodia for our extended family of 6. Their planning and coordination ensured a seamless trip, which was greatly appreciated given we had grandparents in tow. Pick ups, drop offs, road transport and guided tours with air conned transport and knowledgeable and personable local guides all made for an easy and wonderfully memorable trip. The Phare circus in Siem Reap was a lovely suggestion and something we wouldn't have found ourselves. Definitely recommend the See Asia Differently team to take the stress out of planning and executing the trip.

Highly definitely recommend using See Asia Differently if you want a personalised, stress free holiday.
Peter spent time to speak to us to understand our interests and requirements before designing a bespoke trip in Laos and Cambodia.
He was always available before & during our holiday. Even helped with a very last minute itinerary change mid-trip.
All of our lovely guides & drivers were local, which allowed us to get to know more about the area & culture.

See Asia Differently delivered a holiday of a lifetime! Superb organisation throughout. Took us on and off the beaten track. Helpful and friendly in-country staff gave us excellent support throughout. We asked for a guided itinerary and managed in two weeks to explore much of Cambodia with many wonderful and unique experiences. We were a family of four with two children aged 10 & 13.

can we take fast boat from Saigon to Siem Reap?

I am sorry for my late response on your question. And yes this can be done but a fast boat would still take the whole day but it is a nice trip.
