The bus trip was 4 hrs each way and a very hot, long day, but a once in a lifetime experience, the tombs were amazing and our guide very knowledgeable

Our group of 60+ cruisers went on an overnight with Ramasside Tours to Luxor. The booking process for so many people went very smoothly. Our guide Mahmoud was fantastic. He narrated the entire drive from the port to our first stop, which was a VERY long time. This is really important because the first interactions on a tour set the tone for the rest of the time together. Mahmoud had tons of info and stories to share. The hotel we stayed at was superb, the bus was new and clean, our driver was safe. Many people on this overnight told me it was their best time of the entire cruise. Thanks for great memories Mahmoud!

While we have not yet done the tour company's shore excursion of "Luxor Overnight from Safaga Port", what I can say at this time is that our reservation experience, from original inquiry to the final confirmation, was excellent. Special thanks to Mr. Haitham Masoud who handled the process flawlessly.

I've been itching to rave about the service I've received from Ramasside Tours and more specifically Miss Nada Yehia. After 60+ cruises and years of organizing private group tours, it takes an extreme experience to prompt me to post a review. My Ramasside experience so far has been EXCELLENT. I'm organizing an overnight tour for 32 people to Luxor, with lots of add-on activities. Working with Miss Nada is AWESOME. Nada is super quick to reply to emails, very thorough and efficient. I wish all the tour operators I deal with made it even half as easy as Nada has. Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions. Darla

What a wonderful tour Mohammed and Islam made for us. Mohammed was very professional and courteous. His knowledge of the History of Luxor and all the Temples was enormous and very helpful. The accommodations at Sofitel Winter palace were fantastic. Mohammed did your Company proud and I would certqainly retain and recommend him again. He became part of our family!!!

We visited the Valley of the Kings led by our guide Mohammed. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He first asked and accommodated our requests of what we expected for our tour. Our main expectation was to have free time during the tour to wander and take photos without following a fixed script.

I have to say, I was a bit sceptical this trip would be easy. But wow - Mohammed Qenawy, our tour guide made the trip! He stayed with us from Asawan to Luxor. He was respectful, polite and Informative. He shared his wealth of knowledge at every stop. He truly cared about us having a good time. He went out of his way to assist us with small things and share his city and culture. I’m not sure I would have enjoyed this trip as much without his help.
You don’t come around people often whom extend such hospitality.

Wow - just incredible. That’s short and sweet. But in reality the amount of information and knowledge shared by our absolutely amazing and always friendly and smiling tour guide, Mohammed Qenawy, was absolutely invaluable. And let me tell you all to most definitely book your guide to stay with you during the cruise because wow, he is absolutely necessary. He navigated us through all the main sites in Luxor and Aswan and without him the experience might have been less than we expected. But with Mohammed we reached above 100% and he made our trip beyond exciting and knowledgeable. His hospitality was beyond words amazing. Great guy and you must request him. I know I will be for my future tours with Ramasside. We will be back!

Our tour of Egypt with Ramasside was simply fantastic! Starting with the planning process, Ramasside worked to tailor the tour to our desires, including making several additions between when we initially booked the tour to when we arrived in Cairo. Their staff was also helpful in making recommendations about optional activities. Everyone was friendly and worked hard to make sure our tour was all it could be.
Each guide was very knowledgeable about the history of each site as well as the wider context of its significance with respect to both ancient and modern Egypt. They also were flexible in providing opportunities to adjust our schedule to make sure we made the best use of our time and saw as much of Egypt as possible.
For the sites near Cairo, Tarek was our guide and he went beyond the planned itinerary to point out some of the more interesting and less well known areas at Saqqara, one of our favorite sites.
Abdo was our guide for two incredible days in Luxor and similarly tailored his presentation of the local sites to our appetite for seeing and learning as much as possible. We definitely felt like this was more than just a private tour as he shared his perspective on things I had heard about and some that I had not. It was fascinating.
Ahmed travelled with us for two days, covering a large stretch of the Nile form Aswan to Abu Simbel. The sites seen with him were both unique and very beautiful. We also learned much about the Aswan High Dam and its impact on modern Egypt from him.
Lastly, in contrast to the focus on ancient monuments, our tour of Alexandria with Akim provided us a perspective on this unique city. While we saw the sites of the more famous monuments, our passage through city markets and neighborhoods allowed us a more personal interaction with locals.
We are very happy with our experience in Egypt and thank Ramasside for making it such and enjoyable visit!
