Devka Beach is in Nani Daman and it's a rocky and muddy beach, not fit for swimming. There are few eatery, restaurant and hotel nearby attracts tourist with high hope.
Beach neither well maintained nor it is good for strolling.
You can spend some time in the evening just with aim to watch sunset.

We stayed at the" pathetic Silver Waves" as we wanted to spend time around the beach. Although due to on going construction, it was not possible to go to the beach. We thought of going to a good bar but that's also not in the vicinity. You can enjoy street food and egg items for sure. It's not the way we expected.

Poorly maintained surroundings at the beach. Lot of garbage, litter were lying on the way to the beach. Construction activities were making it worst to reach to the beach. The sea shore is rocky and not like most of the beaches. No water waves in the sea, very cool sea. Only craze for people is they can have family picnic here with booze and local snacks.

Nothing to cheer about . Stony beach . Unclean. Promenade is under construction. lots of hotel on the shore of the beach . View from hotel room is good though

Devka Beach is in Nani Daman. We'd been recommended to watch the sunset here... The Devka Beach isn't like a Goa beach! It's more muddy & rocky which makes it unsuitable for frolicking or lounging around.
Nonetheless, the sunset here was spectacular... There were no 'shacks' but plenty of kiosks selling finger food (& beer on the sly)! Gardens are a feature here too, attached to the beaches.

Beach has a good atmosphere. But the beach is very dirty and shabby. Union territory government need to look under it. To maintain proper hygiene. The stalls they charge you almost double of the actual beer bottle cost. Which is not done.
You get good sea food from food stalls.
I can suggest instead of taking from them what you can do you can buy a prawns from market and pay food stall people for cooking it. You will get the taste and even good quantity of food.

Hello everyone my name is Deepak Yadav and I am from Surat, Gujarat, India. Today I will share my reviews on Daman.
I visited Daman last to last year with my family and friends.
There was a very less number of visitors in Daman due to which there was a shortage of hotels in Daman. It is a less crowded place. And moreover, we need to travel a lot as it is too far. Hotels present in Daman are quite expensive. No safety at all. You are there at your own risk. Hence I will not recommend Daman to you all.

This is a rocky beach. Majority of the resorts are facing the Devka beach. But right now they are undergoing some construction on the Beach.

Although extremely dirty some work is being done to beautify as per the locals. All kind of digging and removal of rubbish was going on and there were no tourist other than the locals. Hopefully they would bring the standards similar to that of Jampore beach
