Hi. I contacted Matthew from England whilst planning a 1 month trip to India. He was helpful and informative and although I chopped and changed my plans we kept in touch until we finally met in kochi. I then finalised plans with him for a 4 night 5 day tour of kerala as one small part of our overall trip. He and his drivers were fantastic throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble. A very professionally run but also a very personal service. Everyone friendly kind and most importantly trustworthy. Would 100%definitely recommend and wouldn't think twice about using again. Costs were the best that I was quoted from a number of different companies that I contacted but service better than many. Well done guys. And thanks.

I can highly recommend this taxi company. We had a tempo traveller which was perfect for the long journeys we did. Our driver, Raj, was absolutely fantastic; he was knowledgeable (always able to find perfect places to eat), a safe driver and generally the most perfect driver we could have hoped for. We think the price for the transport was very fair and we would definitely use this company again.

Awesome taxi service!

This was my second time using Just Taxi Holidays and I was not disappointed, just like last time. The driver was very helpful and patient with us. Our flights got delayed and he waited for us for a long time without complaint. We had a pre-planned itinerary and the driver took us to all our stops timely. I'll be using Just Taxi Holidays in future as well!

Avoid Just Taxi Holidays agency!

We booked this tour solely because in the description of the tour was clearly stated: "Pick up from Cochin and transfer to Fort Cochin, enjoy the sightseeing for couple of hours which includes Santa Basilica, St Francis Church, Chinese Nets and later transfer to Alleppey...", but unfortunately, just the half of this was true. We were picked up from the cruise port and immediately transfered to Alleppey - we did not say anything, counting that we would do sightseeing on the return. But, after visiting Chinese Nets on the way back to Cochin, the guide told us that we were going directly to the port terminal, although we had about 2 hours left before ship departure. In our group there were also 2 families from the ship (3 families on the tour in total), but their bookings were different from ours: they booked just Chinese Nets and backwater cruise. After we made a complaint and showed the guide our confirmed booking, he phoned someone and then offered us to do a little bit of sightseeing with the tuk-tuk driver, with an excuse that it was the Christmas Day and there was some event in the town that could cause traffic jam. We did not accept this, because we paid for the sightseeing in a vehicle with A/C and with a guide, in much longer duration. But, on the way to the port, the guide found enough time to stop in one expensive art shop just to give us a chance to bring him some additional money!!! He showed us from the bus some churches and Dutch cemetery as we passed by going to the port, but we were totally dissapointed with his behaviour, he even did not apologize for all that stress he caused us. His behaviour was not at all professional in many ways: as this tour was cancelled after booking was confirmed, we decided to wait for the another suggestion from Just Taxi Holidays, but they reconfirmed the same tour itinerary few days before the starting date, probably in the moment when two other families booked just Chinese Nets and backwater cruise, without informing us in advance that the itinerary changed and that there was a possibility of traffic jam on our chosen date. They simply decided to join this two different tours just in order to avoid the possibilty of giving us money back, without giving us a chance to opt for another tour or cancel for free. Instead, their decision was to cheat us, without offering refund in the amount of just sightseeing tour. Last but not least, instead of visiting lovely colonial town, we spent two hours in the ugly port terminal.

Hello, Thanks for sharing the detailed review, just replying with few points which was clearly written on the tour ticket vouchers. No churches, synagogues and other local tourist spots will open during the public holidays, and your tour was on Dec 25th Christmas day. This was very well informed before hand. Knowing the fact that the tourist spot will be closed during dec 25th, we have cancelled the booking initially and later the email from the client requesting for other options we have agreed to take the booking. On request from the guest to have more time in fort cochin after providing the Fort Cochin and Alleppey Tour, we have given TUK TUK tour free of cost which is actually a paid tour, every one can see how many dollars are for TUK TUK Tour in fort cochin. We have proofs for booking cancelled by us and the request cam from the traveler to admit the booking. Kindly read all details about the tour and book it. We never cheated seeing our history anyone can understand that... Thanks and Regards, Mathew George Anthraper

Worst taxi service ever

After traveling in India for 3 weeks an experiencing numerous taxi services across India this I would rate as my worst experience ever.

The owner or manager of the business Mathew did not follow up with us at all as to the quality of the service when on day 1 the luggage would not fit in the vehicle and we requested a roof rack. Eventually a roof rack was obtained and we left more than 2 hours late.

We made use of the service to transport our family around Kerala.

The driver Ben was very reckless and had to be continually warned to slow down and drive carefully.
The vehicles brakes were faulty and I had to request that he have them repaired this after telling me that there was no issue with the brakes when you could hear the.sound of metal scraping on metal. The brakes were repaired eventually after 2 days.
The driver drove so badly that he tried overtaking a bus that was overtaking a truck and landed up driving into a large branch lying on the opposite side of the road.
The driver was regularly late in the mornings and often not available when we tried to contact him as his mobile was of.
Lastly there was an issue with the mirror of his car which regularly would fall off.

Acknowledging that Ben is only a taxi driver there was little to no interaction on his part. He did however manage to find us a very good spice garden to visit in the area.

I would never recommend this service to anyone.

Hello Reviewer, Thanks for sharing the reviews.... We would like to share few points here... No vehicles in Kerala are allowed to use luggage carrier on top, which was clearly mentioned on the email while booking the trip. Apart from this we have provided the luggage carrier after picking up the guest. We need to hire it and used it no separate charge was taken for this. After picking the first day guest contacted us and said everything is fine till last day everything was fine. Booking taken with out any advance, booking executed with out full payment, on last day guest paid the amount, if they found any issues they had all the freedom to cancel the booking and send the driver back. we have documents. Note - Travelers please share any difficulty you find with drivers during the tour we can do many things and we are here for that. If you are staying in a hotel if you find any problem with any of the hotel staffs you raise and complaint and an alternative staff will come for you service. Traveling with a driver for number of days and if you find any issues you can really call us any time. We generally dont disturb the guest once they are picked up on the first day and we make sure everything is fine. Continuing days we will keep in touch with the drivers. We dont call the guest everyday asking things are fine some find it really annoying, they are here for holidays and to have good peace full time. All travelers kindly make sure that you book vehicle which can carry your luggage inside. thanks and regards, Mathew George Anthraper.

It was a nice and comfortable journey with just taxi. Mathew has helped to plan our trip. Both the drivers (Litty and Rathish) showed us beautiful places with special care. A big thank to you Mathew for all support.

Best Cab Service in Kerala

We booked a cab from just taxi holidays on our visit to Kerala for 10 days. We were travelling from Kochi-Alleppy-Thekkaddy-Munnar-kochi. The boarding process was very smooth and the Driver Akhil stayed throughout with us during these days. He was well informed on the places to see and was very punctual every time.

The most important thing we felt safe.

Would definitely recommend this service for anyone who is visiting Kerala and trying to hire a cab... They are very professional and at the same time very friendly..
