A houseboat stay is a unique experience!

I am a repeat customer of Eco Trails Kerala and had very good experiences with them. Kence (owner) is very knowledgeable and always customized our tours to suit our requirements! He is also easy to communicate with and was available at time time during our stay.

We loved the houseboat experience very much (especially our kids who were riding for the first time!). An added bonus for us was the mansoons, which made it even more special. I must also mention the houseboat captain Rajesh who at times went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. - like arranging for food at 10 PM for our little one or getting us umbrellas to stroll through the island rest stop in the evening. It's these little gestures that can go a long way in creating wonderful memories...

Beautiful experience that we won’t forget

We loved our stay on the houseboat. Kence welcomed us and gave us a nice introduction. We were then left in the very capable hands of an excellent chef and driver. The boat was very comfortable and spacious for the two of us. It’s a very tranquil experience with plenty of birds and wildlife to see. Thank you for a great stay!

All the service provided by Kence is an amazing experience. The food was great and rooms are awesome. The staff is 5 stars.

Un beau moment dans un paysage enchanteur

Nous avons vécu une journée et une nuit extraordinaires sur ce bateau. Un accueil chaleureux, un équipage très sympathique (une mention spéciale pour Michael le cuisinier qui nous a préparé des plats savoureux !). Le voyage sur les lacs et canaux à bord de ce bateau bien aménagé nous a fait découvrir une région superbe, une végétation exotique et faune aquatique riche, le tout dans un calme très reposant. A la fin de notre périple nous avons pu visiter également le parc à oiseaux (bird sanctuary) qui se trouve tout près de l'embarcadère.

Very relaxing experience with my husband.

It was so nice to experience Kerala on the river along with my husband, taking in the day to day lives of the community. The driver was excellent and allowed us lots of privacy and space to enjoy.

Relaxation at its best

We took a one -day and -night on their boat, without additional guests. Expensive but well worth it. We started sailing around 12 pm until 6 pm, stopped to admire the sunset, and then settled down for dinner and sleep. The village where we anchored for the night lacked some basic amenities like electricity, but in the morning it was interesting to watch how they live, prepare breakfast, go out fishing, wash their laundry... We sailed back around 9 am. Meals were good and plentiful (full board), the 2-men team was nice. Altogether a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

Peaceful beautiful 24 hours

We took a boat for the two of us last Jan. Was amazing, would do it again. From the moment i contacted Eco and Mr. Kence everything went as planed and as promised.
We where picked up at our hotel in Kochi ( extra charge) delivered to the boat where we were welcomed with fresh fruits and drinks. Michael cooked for us great and special local food to our full satisfaction. We asked it to be spicy but not too spicy and he did it just right. We have strong diet restrictions and he was able to meet it all. The boat is very clean and nice. The journey is great. Would recommend to everyone. Enjoy. BTW, from the boat Kence arranged us to an amazing experience homestay , highly recommended.

Two day cruise with Eco Trails Kerala - Amazing!

We booked our two day cruise around the backwaters with Eco Trails and were not disappointed. The was just the two of us and we were well looked after by the two crew. It was very peaceful and relaxing and the scenery was stunning. The food could not have been better, it was superb.

Gods own country’s Kerala pride

One should not miss the travel in house boat. The boarding or travel can start from Alleppy or Kottayam or kumarakkam. All the places around 2 hrs journey from Cochin International Airport. Can select road or train as per the convenience. It is better to start the house boat journey around 9 am with inside breakfast. Plenty of houseboat are available in govt or private sectors. The rate may vary from season to season. The Best season is oct to feb. HB with One bedroom, two bedrooms or more available . One can choose as per Num of people. All type of food ll be served in the boat. Order has to be placed in the morning. Normal case HB available @ hourly but can take 24 hrs too. You cam enjoy music, dance n Wounderful natural scenes. It ll be a heaven for non veg eaters. Fresh fishes or chicken or meat are available Throughout the period
