This temple is dedicated to Nandi, the mount of Lord Shiva, whose temple stands adjacent to this one. This is a fairly modest temple, a small rectangular with open walls supported by columns. Inside the sanctum is a monolithic sculpture of Nandi. It’s not that interesting a temple, so I’d only see if if you’re already visiting Viswanath Temple.

Der Nandi Tempel, der zum Viswanath Tempel gehört, beherbergt ein etwa 2 m langes Nandi, das Reittier des Gottes Shiva. Die Darstellung des sehr großen Nandi zeugt von hoher Kunstfertigkeit.

Nandi is a vahana of Lord Shiva. There are other masterpieces which are bigger and requires more attention than these small ones like the Kandariya temple. One can as skip this one or take a quick tour of the vahana

ナンディの面前に何かあったようだが、今はつま先部分しか残っていません。
ナンディの周囲はベンチのようになってます。
早朝から見学に来ており、西群の中をほぼ１周しており、疲れが溜まっていたのでここで休憩しました。

Otro templo parte del complejo de templos de Khajuraho. Seguro que pasas por aca al visitar el complejo, es chiquito y se vistia rapido, no es tan rico como los otros.

The Nandi temple as the name states is dedicated to Nandi, the bull which serves as the mount of Lord Shiva. This Shrine to Nandi is located in the Western Group of Temples at Khajuraho and is opposite the Vishwanath Temple, in keeping with the common architecture trend wherein a seated Nandi always faces the temples of Shiva and his consort Parvati.
We visited this temple during our recent trip to Khajuraho. The temple stands on a rectangular modest platform (chabutara) and the main structure is in the combination of a cross and rectangle. The rectangle form the sanctum and the cross edges form the four balconies. The walls are like balcony walls and do not completely cover the sanctum, while the roof rests on a pillar in each corner. The border design is made of carvings depicting an elephant (front view with head, trunk and two legs) with human figures on both sides of the elephant. Erotic sculpture of couples are seen on the outer roof. In addition a sculpture of Shiva with trishul and snake can be seen on the outer roof and wall.
