A must visit location when you visit Panchagani and Mahabaleshwar. A very serene place to spend the evening with family though place is a bit far from Wai, one should not give it a miss. Boat rides are also available at reasonable price.

It's best if you go here by your own mode of transport. I don't what is the current situation there. But when i visited it was quite and very beautiful. It's a must visit place.

Dam has a wonderful expanse of 14 kms by 5 kms of lake area. Very serene place for boating. Both speed boat and family boat available . However has very poor infrastructure with not so good road and very minimal parking area ( just 4 cars) with rocky approach road.

Very nice lake, boating, speed boat, horse riding and many more activities can be done

Its a huge backwaters of the dam where one can enjoy boating, water sports and various rides at this place. Rides include horse rides, ATVs, bullock carts etc. Some persons were also swimming and frolicking.

Dhom Dam is located a little far away from Panchgani. It is built on river Krishna. This is a cool place to enjoy boat rides and watch the still calm water of River Krishna, witness the far off mountains surrounding the place. You will definitely enjoy the cool breeze in the atmosphere here.

Dhom dam is usually a landmark used to identify the local boating stop near by. Recently we have seen a lot of camper come down to pitch up their tents or take tented accommodation in the nearby tent houses. The dam being built on Krishna river holds a lot of water, and thus entail a lot of risk for people to go swimming unsupervised.

Yes. You can. Only thing is, you have to make sure the place is not reserved by any other group. Beacuse many groups arrange camping at Dhom Dam.
Can we bring our own tents for overnights stays near the lake??
