Sir,
Yesterday I visited Badabagh and the SIS security guard stopped me at the ticket counter. I asked how much is the ticket. He said 150 and he gave me a ticket. When I entered the Cenotaphs there was a guide who asked me to show him my ticket. When I showed him my Ticket he kept it and said we keep this ticket. I asked him to give back my ticket because I have to give it to my company who gives me my money back but he said we don't give tickets back. I said ok and I went inside the cenotaphs. There was another tourist there and I asked them about their ticket. They said they paid at the ticket counter but they were told they wouldn't receive an actual ticket. When I went in, in front of me a man wearing a green shirt came and asked me for my ticket. I asked who he was and he said he is the king's worker. I asked his name and he said Sher Singh. When I asked him why did he take the ticket he said they keep the ticket. I said I bought a ticket and the security guard took it already.
So I'm requesting, sir, please remove your corrupt worker who takes money from the tourists and doesn't give them a ticket and even if he does give tickets to a few tourists, inside the cenotaphs a guide or security guard will take the ticket from the tourist and give this ticket back to the ticket counter where they sell the same ticket again.

Le site de cénotaphes est très intéressant, relativement peu fréquenté et surtout prend des couleurs magnifiques au coucher du soleil.
Par contre, pour les photographes, le potentiel est là, mais avec photoshop pour enlever toutes les éoliennes qui pullulent aux alentours.

Very beautiful ancient place with good photography location. This place is 14-15minutes away from jaisalmer city . It is place where ladies of royal family were cremated and then a small monument ( chatri) was madefor individual memory....some are broken and also few are under restoration...there are two sets of monuments....one is at higher grounds and you have to climb on a trail full of stones....difficult for elderly people to climb...they can enjoy the view of monuments at lower level...also windmills are nearby by and they also are good for photo's....many movie shoots have taken at this place...must visit place

Incredible views, especially around sun-set. The whole place looks golden. Few tips:
1. Do visit this place around sun-set.
2. Do not need to engage a guide unless you want the historical details. Go there for the views and you won't regret.
Surprising that there are no restrictions here and you can just roam around in this place anywhere and click pictures.

Bada Bagh
It is actually a place where artistic structures were made after death of Queens. Although it looks beautiful in google images, once you actually visit the place; they all look nearly similar. To us, this place has only importance for good photography or video shooting for films but otherwise there is nothing much to see.
Moreover, it is situated approx. 6 km from the main city. So, transport is a bit costly. Usually autorickshaw charges Rs. 300 t0 400 for to and fro (& he stays there). Plus, charges for the actual place to visit is Rs.150 per person. So your overall cost goes to Rs. 900 to 1000 (for family with 4 persons) where nothing much to see. So, I advise travelers to go only if you are interested in good photography and you have enough money to waste.

300 rupias la entrada. Vale la pena, sobretodo al atardecer con los colores preciosos que cogen las construcciones. La visita puede ser rápida porque el complejo es pequeño. En època seca, el lago anexo al complejo está seco y utilizan los campos para cultivar. Hay otros cenotafios cercanos, donde la puesta de sol es también bonita y puedes ver la fortaleza desde allí. Recomendable

Like most tourist spots in Rajasthan which are extremely rich in history,tradition and culture,BADA BAGH suffers from this malady.If it was restored and maintained this is a very beautiful place to visit as the view of the sunset from this point is outstanding.

Suggerisco di recarsi a Bada Bagh all'ora del tramonto, quando il sole illumina in modo molto particolare i cenotafi. Non è la parte di Jaisalmer che mi ha impressionata di più, ma questo sito merita una visita, magari sfruttando una guida locale per scoprire qualcosa di più.

n Tuctuc schaust du am besten direkt vor dem Hotel. Vorgängig jedoch den Fahrpreis abmachen. Die Höhe des Fahrpreises fragst du an der Reception des Hotels. Lieben Gruss Gerhard

No, despite being District headquarter, Jaisalmer is small town/city where even no scope of public transportation but at the same time being a city of tourist attraction, lot of autos and jeeps are available for Rs. 200-250/- for return charges.Be aware, not a lady should go alone,in late evening, not to stay for late hours.Dont be panic, entire jaisalmer is safe but exceptional events cant be ruleout.
