Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Ganesh. Il était très aimable et serviable, nous donnant des conseils sur les meilleures pièces à choisir.
La boutique est vraiment comme une caverne d'Ali Baba, remplie de belles choses de très bonne qualité. Nous avons été impressionnés par le choix et la variété des articles proposés. Que ce soit des vêtements, des accessoires ou des objets de décoration, il y en avait pour tous les goûts.
De plus, les prix étaient très raisonnables. Nous avons trouvé des pièces uniques et originales à des prix abordables.
Nous recommandons vivement la boutique Ali Baba House à tous ceux qui recherchent des articles de qualité à Jodhpur. Merci encore à Ganesh pour son accueil chaleureux et ses précieux conseils.

We were just around the corner having some juice when we met Pranav and struck up a nice conversation. He later told us about Ali Baba House if we felt like having a look, which we did. Pranav is a wonderful young man who is hard working and knowledgeable about his products. Ganeshram, the owner of the shop, also joined us and we had some great conversations about the world and life experiences. You really don't feel like a customer in this shop, rather as a friend. We were also treated to some yummy chai as we chatted.
Their pashmina products are beautiful and of great quality. Worth a stop, even if just to have a friendly chat.

하지만 가격은 다른 곳에 비해 비쌌습니다. 그래도 마음에 드는 스카프를 찾았습니다. 쇼핑을 마친 후 다른 골목길로 가라고 안내받았는데 가지말라니까 더 가고 싶어서 갔더니 저렴한가역에 다른 스카프를 볼 수있었습니다. 그래서 판단은 여러분들에게 :) !

Llegué a la tienda al mediodía y me quedé hasta que se hizo de noche. Compartí historias y buenas conversaciones con Prince y Ganesh, dos muy buenas personas del mercado de Jodhpur. No te presionan para comprar, y tampoco intentan subirte el precio. Me encantó haber encontrado esta tienda! Kuxrow guys!

毎日いろんなお土産ショップに足を運びましたが
クオリティー、デザイン性、種類に長けていました。
その分、他のショップよりは値段は張ります。
例えば、他店ではストール1枚300ルピーのところ
ここでは500ルピーでした。
もちろん値段交渉もできますが他店よりかなり固いです。
実際、5アイテム購入し合計金額が2850ルピーでしたが
交渉後2300ルピーでした。
でも、満足です。
毎日いろんなお土産ショップに足を運びましたが
クオリティー、デザイン性、種類に長けていました。
その分、他のショップよりは値段は張ります。

Been looking for a nice shirt but felt pressured at a lot of the other shops here. Prince greeted me and was friendly and showed me a few designs. Answered my questions and never felt hassled or harassed. Was very happy with the shirt I bought and was given a fair price. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to buy fabrics!

Me and my wife noticed some baggy pants on a rack with a fixed price. The owner of the shop come along to suggest there are more inside, we liked the idea of fixed price and so had a look.
After a brief (but no selling pressure) friendly conversation with Pranav (Prince) who spoke good English and seemed generally interested in speaking to us (and now with knowledge of their seemingly fair prices) we said we'd come back the next day as it was getting late and I'm glad we did.
The next day we must have stayed for around an hour chatting to Pranav about his life, relationships, religion, textiles.. you name it. (This was already after a sale of some cushion covers which were well priced which again, was under no pressure to buy). Prince was kind enough to educate us on the different types of material and how to tell real Kashmir wool from other materials.
Our experience was all without the common pressure to sell items as most of India and from such a young man was refreshing to meet a relaxed person who we could have chatted to for hours.
I would highly recommend to pop by Ali baba even if you don't want to buy anything. Have some good conversation, maybe learn something you didn't know before and leave more informed about India and maybe leave with some well priced products too.
