ป้อมปราการขนาดเล็กตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขา ริมถนนที่เคลื่อนที่ได้ แม้ว่าจะไม่มีอะไรให้มากนักภายในเมือง ieeof Udaipur จากสนามหญ้าด้านนอกก็ดี โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในช่วง/หลังมรสุมจะดูงดงามเป็นพิเศษ หุบเขาด้านหลัง ด้านหลังป้อมปราการนั้นสร้างแรงบันดาลใจไม่น้อย โดยเฉพาะมุมมองด้านหลังทางตอนเหนือ น่าไปเยือนสักครั้ง . . . แต่หลังมรสุม อย่างไรก็ตาม อัตราการเข้าค่อนข้างสูงที่ rs 525 สำหรับ รถยนต์. รายการและอาร์เอสอื่น เพิ่มเติมท่านละ 100. 3 ดาว

ฉันวางแผนการเดินทางเพื่อเยี่ยมชมวังแห่งนี้ เรามาถึงที่นี่แล้ว แต่ผลตอบรับจากคนในพื้นที่คือสถานที่แห่งนี้มีค่าเฉพาะช่วงมรสุมเท่านั้น อันที่จริงนี่คือเมืองหลวงแห่งมรสุมของกษัตริย์เนื่องจากกษัตริย์เสด็จเยือนเฉพาะช่วงฤดูฝนเท่านั้น จึงได้ชื่อว่าวังมรสุม ในฤดูกาลอื่น ๆ ไม่มีประโยชน์ที่จะขึ้นไปด้านบน มันจะเหมือนกับที่อื่นๆ มุมมองที่คุณได้รับจาก Karni mataji หรือป้อม Kumbhalgarh ก็เหมือนกัน ดังนั้นคุณสามารถให้พลาด เมื่อไปถึงช่องจำหน่ายตั๋ว จะมีระยะทาง 7 กม. ยานพาหนะสามารถไปได้ แต่ไม่อนุญาตให้รถ 3 ล้อขึ้นด้านบน คุณต้องใช้รถ 4 ล้อ (อีก ~ Rs 500 ) เนื่องจากเรามาที่นี่แล้ว เราจึงไปที่สวนสัตว์สัจจังการห์แทน ดูรีวิวของฉันเพื่อทราบรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับสวนสัตว์

Located up a hill, by motorable road, this is a mini fortress. While it does not have much to offer inside, the ieeof Udaipur city from the outside lawns is nice. It would look particularly magnificent during / post monsoon. The rear vale ,behind the fort is no less inspiring, particularly the northern rear view. Worth visiting once....but post monsoon. However, the entry rates are pretty high at rs.525 for a.cars.entry and another rs.100 per person, additionally. 3 stars.

I planned my itenary to visit this palace. We reached here, but the feedback that we got from the locals is that this place is worth only during Monsoon. Infact this was the monsoon capital of the king, as the king visited this only during rainy season. Hence the name Monsoon palace

During other seasons, there is no point going to the top. It will be just like any other place. The views you get from Karni mataji or Kumbhalgarh fort is the same. Hence you can give a miss.

Once you reach the ticket window, there is 7km trek. Vehicles can go, but 3 wheelers are not allowed to go on the top. You have to take a 4 wheeler (another ~Rs 500)

Since we already came here, instead we went to the Sajjangarh zoo. See my review to know in details about the zoo.

Fort on a hill

It is a small fort situated on a hill. Not possible to walk there so easily. We had requested our tempo traveler to take us above the hill. Initially he was not ready, but later agreed. It gives view to complete Udaipur city.

Worth the effort

Nothing much to see in the palace but the 360 degree views are truly captivating. You can see the entire city and the surrounding hills in its full glory. Sunset is a bonus.

A historical monument that doubles up as as beautiful sunset point

This was the summer palace built over a certain period of time on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful city of Udaipur. The drive up the hill is interesting and if you are lucky you may encounter some wildlife apart from the regular langoors. There's ample parking space available at the hilltop where the palace is situated. The palace in itself doesn't have a lot to offer, but its location and the view from up there is amazing. There's a small canteen run by the royal family which serves refreshments. It is advisable to visit this place during the evenings to be able to catch the sunset. You can relax in the garden in and around the palace. All in all a must see place for your Udaipur itinerary.

Not so Fascinating

I went to Sajjangarh palace on January 1st 2022 and the experience was not so good. The Palace has nothing to offer but only photo and videography. Its not kept good for public to visit.
The road to the mountain is the best part, but if you have been to Mt. Abu, or any other hill station, then this wont fascinate you much.
The tickets are on a skyrocketing price. Rs. 95 per individual and parking Rs. 45 if you take 2-wheeler and Rs. 275 for 4-wheeler. Udaipur or Rajasthan tourism did not mention the exact value of tickets in any of their official websites.
The Palace entrance gate is nearly 4 kms from Citi Palace. Do not get an auto or a cab to get there. Rent a scooty or any 2-wheeler instead because the Palace is close to 5 kms on hill top from its entrance and the vendors charge you an extra 300-350 Rs. for a scooty if you did not manage to have any conveyance. The Palace offers a two way ride from the entrance to Palace and the other way around in Rs. 95, but it wont stop in the middle of the route to get you beautiful scenic pics.
My overall experience visiting Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace was not worth wasting a good amount of time. I would recommend to visit EklingJi Temple instead, if you are a history fan, which is nearly 21 Kms from City Bus Stand.
The best thing you can do in Udaipur is to rent a scooty. That will cost you around 300-500 RS for a day depending on the season.

Worst possible management for a historical site

Went to Sajjangarh with family on an afternoon (dec'21). The experience was harrowing, to say the least. The people who manage the entry seem to be quite inexperienced in managing such monuments. It took us more than an hour, just to get inside the premises, only because of the complete mismanagement of ticketing. One has to go to the gate (in his/her vehicle) and then leave the car on the gate (blocking the road for others) and go get the ticket. Ticketing queue is a separate unrelated queue, so it might mean a wait of 15 min or 50 min. Till then all the cars behind you would be waiting (and they won't have a choice to leave also). It sounds supremely silly and impossible for someone to be so dumb, but you have to go there to see it for yourself.
Once you get inside, the view is quite nice. The whole city of udaipur is visible. The palace itself is quite badly kept and nothing to offer.
On the whole, the experience was pathetic. We ended up wasting a precious evening on this trip.

Located on the Aravali hills this is an amazing fort with breath taking view. One can take the car all the way up. Very well managed and maintained place. Highly recommended.
