I just returned from a three-week trip to Bali, and I have to say that having Made as our tour guide was one of the highlights of our experience. Thanks to him, we got to see the very best spots on the island, especially around Ubud. Made was incredibly friendly and always ready to help us, no matter the time or place. His warm personality and genuine kindness made the trip so much more enjoyable.
One of the most memorable moments was when he invited our group to his home for dinner. It was such a generous gesture, and the evening was filled with laughter, games and great conversation. It truly felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home rather than just a tour guide’s.
I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you're looking to explore Bali with someone who knows the island inside and out and treats you like family, I can’t recommend Made enough!

My wife, 4 year old son, and I had the pleasure of spending multiple days over our 13 day trip to Bali with Made. Communication from before we arrived in Bali until after we arrived home was excellent.
Made provided transportation to and from the airport and to each hotel we stayed at during our time in Bali. We also did numerous tours in Bali that Made custom planned based on our interests. He did an excellent job of planning things so we had stops along the way and didn't have to spend too much time driving without a break, which was very helpful with a 4 year old.
Spending an evening for an authentic Balinese dinner at Made's home is a night that will forever be one of our favorite travel memories. He will forever be "Uncle Made" to our son.
I'd highly recommend Made for anyone looking to book transportation or tours in Bali. Anyone with kids that hires anyone else is simply making a mistake.

One of the best decisions I've made in life is to listen to the reviews and give Made a text to arrange for a day trip around Bali. On top of texting Made just the one day prior, he went out of his way to arrange and plan a simple itinerary for me, and as well as arrange another driver as he was not free.
We had an amazing time, from visiting the Batik factory, learning their processes, to visiting the Bali zoo, followed by an amazing lunch, then a trip to get some coffee and learn about the history of coffee in Bali, and ended the day with an amazing low tide Tanah lot, which allowed us to walked up to the rocky cliffs for amazing photos.
I wished we could have stayed and hired them for another day to visit other parts of Bali, but that will need to wait till next year. Looking forward to coming back and having my trip taken care off by Made and team.

My husband and I just got back from a fantastic day tour with Made.
You will not meet a nicer, kinder human being. He is full of life and truly wants to show you all the best spots in Bali.
We went to a gorgeous waterfall (Banyumala Waterfall), a floating temple (Ulun Danu Beratan), a coffee plantation, Sangeh Monkey forest, Bali swing, and he even graciously showed us his lovely home and how the Balinese live.
He’s funny, thoughtful, and provides just the right amount of history and insight while still allowing you to relax and take in the sights.
Your tour can be completely customized based on your interests. It's like having the best local friend ever for a day!
I strongly recommend his services! Matur suksma Made!

My wife and I spent 10 days in Bali and we hired Made to be our driver/tour guide. I'm so glad that we did because not only is Made a fantastic host and guide, but he is now a friend! Made greeted us at the airport with a smile on his face, a refreshing cold towel and bottles of water. His hospitality from the beginning was amazing and he kept that up throughout our entire trip. He knows all the spots to go to that include both local and touristy areas. Made has a love of his country and culture and it shows through the great service, stories and knowledge he shares with you throughout the trip. A highlight of the trip is when he invited us to his home to have dinner with his family! I would highly recommend Made and hope to see him again one day!

I highly recommend Made for any transport/tour/guide needs in Bali. I originally came across recommendations for Made on Flyertalk many months before our trip. Doing more research I found him highly recommended here on TripAdvisor. I reached out to Made via email to ask questions and put together a schedule for our trip. He was very prompt to respond and we eventually started communicating via WhatsApp.
Made took care of all our transport and tours while we were in Bali for 10 days. First airport transport to Sanur area, he coordinated a day trip to Nusa Penida for us, full day tour out of Sanur area with Kadek, Hotel transfer to Ubud with multiple stops along the way, several full day tours out of Ubud, monkey forest visit and ultimately transport back to the airport for our departure.
We were a family traveling with young children and both Made and Kadek were very flexible and had no problems with unscheduled pit stops for the kids.
Made is very knowledgeable about Balinese history and culture and is excited to share. I think one of the most special things during our stay was visiting his family compound, joining his family for dinner and experiencing the culture. Our twins were celebrating their 7th birthday during our trip and on their birthday was when we visited Made's family compound where he had decorations and a birthday cake to make their day special and a little reminder of home.
I'm not sure when we'll make it back to Bali but when we do I'll ask Made to take care of us again. Suksma Made!

We stayed in Bali about ten days and relied on Made who accompanied us from the first day picking us up at the airport. It was really great both as a person, very helpful and nice, both as a driver (great) but also as a Guide. Made accompanied us to visit different sites of the island telling us in detail the places with interesting anecdotes. Impossible to get bored with Made, highly recommended!

Made is the best! From planning to the actual trip, he made our entire trip simply better. He was very flexible when our needs changed last minute.
Made is super knowledgeable in everything Bali, knows all the best spots in Bali, and took amazing photos for us! He also has connections all over the island and can arrange more specialized experiences too.
If anyone would like a guide, driver, and a friend all in one, hit up Made. And don’t forget to ask him to take you to his favorite suckling pig restaurant 🤤

My husband and I traveled to Bali for our anniversary and Made took great care of us. It was really nice having someone who the whole time treated us like family and not just like a customer. We learned alot about Indonesia and anything we asked he kindly came through for us. We'll definitely us him once again. He's the best!!
