We booked the tour months ahead.
On the day of the tour , the driver was not at the meeting point.
No message for the reason why he didnt show up.
The contact number he gave was not listed in WhatsApp.
No means to get in touch with him.
No explanation until the evening.

We payed in advance and must now try to get the money back.

Keep away from this tour organisation.

Toraja Tour With The most reliable guide.

We did 2 days toraja tour with a very reliable guide(Mr.Arru),it was amazing tour with him by using a nice car and combined with doing a hike 1-2 hours in the lovely countryside
Mr.Arru was very fun and a very knowledgeable guide and very helpful for all our trip.he was very honest and flexible guide

Paid $3000 No Trip No Refund No Credit

My friend and I booked a 23-day trip to Sulawesi for August 2020. When we had to cancel due to COVID-19 and Indonesia being closed, Hernan Halim stopped answering emails, refused to follow his own booking terms of only 25% penalty and wouldn't even offer a credit for 2021. We lost all our money and couldn't even get an explanation. Do NOT book with Hernan or IndoGlobal Adventures.

Great Trip...But...

We had a great 6 day birding trip to Tangkoko and Tomohon. The trip was “saved” by Samuel Masedung our excellent guide and Tati his wife…But… After the original booking, Hernan Halim did not respond timely to communication. And failed to send a final invoice. Consequently, when we arrived in Tangkoko, we were informed we still owed about US$900. To add to the confusion, the original agreement was in US$, with no mention of IDR or conversion rates, and Hernan wanted to use old conversion rates. The nearest ATM was in Bitung, and ATM’s only dispense about $90 at a time. This added unnecessary stress to our trip, and meant we were trying to get cash instead of enjoying the trip. I admit, I should have noticed before that we had not paid the full amount, but good communication from Hernan could have prevented this problem.

But every booking and also listed in our Terms & Condition, will be informed that all balance payment shall be pay upon arrival. If you ever wish to make your balance payment by Wire Transfer as well, this need to be done 2 Weeks before your arrival and most of our customer doesnt feel secure with that option. So most of them prefer to pay on the spot. We are happy to know that we are chosen The best guide for your Birding Trip. As indicated in our email to you that we will provide you the best guide for your trip and we always do. Tana Toraja an amazing experience of culture and lifestyle

I just had a fantastic trip to Tana Toraja with Hernan and his team, right from the first question I found Hernan to be extremely informative, no hard sell and actually one of the reasons I picked this tour, (I am a well seasoned traveler, more than 50 countries on 5 continents and not the biggest fan of organised tours, however...) . The process of booking and payment super easy (make sure to ask about the accommodation types there are a few), the trip was everything it promised on the brochure and more due to our guide Hendrick he really was amazing, he is very educated on the culture and history of the area, his English is great always offering information and for someone like me who asks a million questions he was always polite and cheerful with an answer.This area of Indonesia is so rich in culture and steeped in folklore that you would miss if you did not have a good guide, ask for Henry.The airport pick up was seamless on time efficient the driver even had a great music selection as its a bit of a drive. Each of the restaurants we went to was a great and genuine experience of local Torajan fare even with the cooks stopping by to explain the food, super. We did and saw so much but it never felt rushed or boring, again am not always the most patient but Hendrick kept me absolutely entertained with stories and facts of the Torajan people and culture.
Thank you Indoglobal team for making this an awesome journey and experience to your land.

Jakarta tour..
An expensive tour??? Only place enjoyed is the miniature park, but every step there is entrance fee which was not included in tour.
Istiqal mosque, repair was going on.
Tour price not corresponding with the activities.
Dissatisfied tour 🙄

Hello Sir, Thank you for your review. Your order is made from Viator which is sister company of TripAdvisor. In Viator website, all exclusive and inclusive of our tours is clearly mentioned such as entrance fee, its clearly mentioned that is not included from the tour package. Regarding the repair of Istiqlal Mosque, that is beyond our scope. We cannot predict such a thing. Its like force majure. So I hope this explenation is make sense for you. 27 Tage Sulawesi Highway

Die Reise, 28 Tage quer durch Sulawesi mit Start in Makassar und Ziel in Bunaken/Manado, alles inklusive, mit Hernan als Guide und Fahrer mit Privatfahrzeug war ausgezeichnet organisiert. Wenn man nicht auf eigene Faust mühsam organisieren will, ist Indoglobal absolut zu empfehlen. Die Hotels waren gut ausgesucht und jeweils die besten oder interessantesten im Ort. Man profitiert dabei auch von jeweils lokalen Führern (inbegriffen). Hernan führte uns auch zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Orten, welche man mit dem OV nicht und mit dem Taxi nur wenn man es kennt erreicht. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir haben mit Transferwise die Reise vorausbezahlt und alles lief admininstrativ optimal. Die Strassen in Sulawesi sind meist sehr schlecht und entsprechend sind die Reisezeiten. Die Fähre von und nach Wakai Togean Inseln fährt nicht unbedingt nach Fahrplan, also genügend Zeit einrechnen! Als Schnorchler ist auf Togean das Hotel Kadidiri dem angebotenen Black Marlin vorzuziehen. Bastiano's auf Bunaken war hingegen super.

It was a very expensive Trip but worth.

We saw many interesting objects as it scheduled. The guide Mr. Hendrik & the driver were very nice and friendly. However, I wish Indo Global can manage the direct flight from Makassar to Pangkoti airport in the future and surely the local government should make it possible. Toraja is a great place, a must visit. I recommend any cultures lovers to pay a visit. My opinion is that children under 17 are not suppose to come with, especially during the funeral ceremony. Some of them couldn’t take it as it is. It took a while to let them forgot.

Tana Toraja Well Worth A Visit

IndoGlobal's 4D3N Tana Toraja Cultural Experience (Sulawesi) far exceeded expectations. We opted for air travel to and from Makassar, saving a 10-hour road journey each way. Martin was an excellent guide and asked our permission to alter the itinerary to include a traditional Torajan funeral. That was a cultural highlight we will never forget but, if you are squeamish, be warned this celebration (it's more of a festival than a funeral) includes the slaughter of pigs and buffalos. If you are looking for a "National Geographic" experience, then this is the short trip for you.
