It seem our review did not appear so I have come back to write one for you!
Thank you for looking after our 3 adventures.
The surf lesson where an instructor was arranged at Sengiggi beach
The private trip to the 3 Gili's including snorkeling and great spot for a lunch stop. Including Ida himself as our guide and a outrigger boat with local pilot
And finally a private driver and car for a 4 hour tour of the hills, temples, monkey forest and a beach sunset
We may be back this summer!

This was a fabulous trip with lovely friendly people, including the guide Gede, who was helpful, spoke excellent English and we all liked. The highlight of this trip for me was our day out snorkelling. We visited three small islands, all deserted and with beautiful pristine sand beaches. Lombok is off the beaten track by comparison to Bali and the Gili Islands, and makes a good escape from the hustle and bustle. There are trips round remote villages - be aware that you need your culture hat on every time you go on an Intrepid trip. Don't expect to be lying by the pool all day, though there's time for this as two of the hotels have pools. Hotel decor is basic, and don't expect hairdryers. But the gardens are beautiful and the least appealing hotel comes with a stunning view! There will be French toilets to endure, but fortunately not in the hotels. The food served in the family home and on the weaving walk was delicious - and any vegans on this tour will particularly enjoy the meal on the weaving walk. About the waterfall walk: before travelling try to buy some slip resistant sandals designed specifically for walking on river beds - as the stones are sloppy. Some people managed to do it bare foot, I combined bare foot/flip flop approach, but it wasn't ideal. I have a zero level of fitness and I just about managed the walk back from the waterfall, slightly out of breath. The rice field walk was one of the best bits, but the joy of taking in the views was hard to fully appreciate at the same time as maintaining balance on the very narrow raised strips of earth skirting the fields. The local guide was very kind though and kept a close eye on me, helping me balance whenever necessary. I was the least confident at this though, as I have poor balance. This is a walk you can opt out of, but I'm glad I did it as the views were spectacular.
Never drink any of the water. Don't even use it to brush your teeth - I did and lived to regret it! I had a particularly horrendous case of Bali Belly. Bring Imodium with you, and factor 50 spf (you will need it on the snorkelling trip).

Ida war einer der freundlichsten Menschen die uns auf unserer Reise begegnet sind.
Für absolut faire Preise brachte er uns an Orte, die ohne seinen Fahrer und und sein Wissen für uns unerreichbar geblieben wären!
Tolle Schnorcheltouren an den Gilis und an versteckte Orte mitten im Dschungel, nur zu empfehlen!

Had a great adventure in Lombok with these guys! Ida took us to spots that would have been difficult to access on our own. He brought snacks and customized our trip, taking us everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommended!!
