Outstanding trip through Sri Lanka! Chrishan was an excellent driver and tourguide! Safe and reliable driver. Gave us helpful tips where to go and what to see! He was always on time and became a good friend!

Started the trip on 15.03.25. And ended on 20.03.25. This is one of the best trip in our life. Our driver Mr. Nirman was a gem of a person. He ensured that we didn't face any difficulties anywhere in the entire trip. He helped us in getting the tickets for the Nuwera Eliya to Ella Train Ride. Will recommend to engage him as your guide if anyone is coming through Visit In Lanka. He will go to any extent to make your trip memorable, we can vouch for that. Keep up the good work M/s Visit In Lanka and Mr. Nirman.

Me and my two Austrian friends used the chauffered car rental services of Visit In Lanka in March 2025. Our trip was awesome and it wouldnt have been possible without the services of Visit In Lanka. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning to tour Sri Lanka.
I first engaged with them 4 - 5 months before my trip. I was speaking to 3 or 4 other taxi companies as well but what struck me the most was the responsiveness and the options that I received from Tiron (the owner) to make it a win-win deal for both of us. I wasn't sold an overpriced package like some others tried to do. It was just right for my itinerary and the 8 day duration of the trip. Closer to the travel date I was assigned the car that I had requested and was provided information of the driver, Krishan.
This review cannot be complete and wont do justice to the 5 stars without me specially calling out Krishan our driver who ended up becoming a friend during the trip. Krishan doubled up as a tour guide (he has a license), took us to the places we wanted to see, helped us when there were language barriers, helped booked tickets for some sightseeing excursions, made sure we were safe, took us to good but not the expensive touristy places to eat, ensured we werent scammed and most importantly drove safely.... He was knowledgeable about the destinations. He was very amiable. If you use the services of Visit In Lanka I would strongly recommend you put a request to have Krishan as your chauffer and guide.

We had the delightful experience of having Mr. Chinthaka Lakmal as our driver and guide for our 10 day vacation in Sri Lanka, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment we arrived until our final drop-off, he provided outstanding service that truly enhanced our travel experience.
Chinthaka is punctual, professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable about the country. His Toyota 220D was well maintained and clean. He always arrived on time and drove with the perfect balance of caution and skill.
What sets him apart is his warm personality and local expertise. He not only took us to all the must-visit attractions but also introduced us to hidden gems that we might not have discovered on our own. His recommendations for restaurants, cultural sites, and scenic routes were spot on! He was always patient, accommodating, and willing to adjust plans based on our preferences. Friendly yet respectful of our space and always ready with a smile, he kept the car AC running for long durations even while stationary to keep us comfortable. Whether it was helping with luggage, steering us clear of unneccesary expenditure or sharing local stories about Sri Lanka, he went above and beyond to make our trip memorable.

Our week with the very professional and charming Mr Prabash from Visit In Lanka Tours was truly exceptional. Nirman, apart from being a skilled and careful driver, was a delight to be with. He was friendly, thoughtful and very knowledgeable about his country's history and culture. We did an 11 day tour from Negombo from Negombo to Tangalle with Krishan. Krishan was professional, punctual, honest, cheerful and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan history and society. He had good ideas for places to visit that we wouldn’t have thought of otherwise. He was helpful with arranging tours and taking us to restaurants aligned with our budget. Krishan was a very careful and safe driver, and was always able to find a good parking spot. The car was clean and in good condition. Highly recommend Visit in Lanka tours.

We had a fantastic tour . With the beauty
Of ShriLanka surrounding us the family trip consisting of my wife , son , his wife & my son’s in laws the trip turned out even more beautiful & amazing then what we had assumed originally .Started at Colombo & we drove for 4 days covering Nuwara Elliya , Kandy & Galle . Stying at amazing accommodation. To top it all we had a cheerful & knowledgeable guide cum driver Kavinda . He was a great asset & a careful driver. We wish him & his company all the success

We found Visit in Lanca to be a first class company to deal with.
The driver provided Mr. Kirsten was absolutely first class in that he drove us for ten days all around the country in absolute safety in sometimes chaotic conditions.
He was a great help in advising us where to go and what to see and made sure our holiday was one never to be forgotten.

Visit in Lanka made our holiday! Every driver was polite, helpful and very punctual. We were greeted at the airport by a happy driver with beautiful orchids to welcome us and immediately transported to our hotel. We were taken on numerous sightseeing tours and all drivers were knowlegeable and pleasant. Our elephant safari was something else! Highly recommend this friendly and efficient Company. Thank you to all involved in organising our trip

Hi Chris , You can skip Trinco and Anuradhapura. Instead you may visit Habarana and Polonnaruwa and then Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella. Finally you can stay couple of days in the southern beach.

We arrive on a flght to Colombo on the 24th and would like an airport pickup to our accommodation in Colombo
We would like to do some sight seeing on the 25th in Colombo for the day then
We will need to be picked up on the 26th and taken to Strathisla Tea Estate Matale where we stay two nights.
After we are still deciding if we will need a driver as On the 28th we will need to be taken to Back of Beyond, Tree house Sigiriya for 2 nights stay.
On the 30th We then plan to catch a train or be driven from Dambulla to Kandy,
then catch train or be driven from Kandy back to Colombo on the 1st (undecided about train or car but want to do at least one train trip)
Our flight out to Male is on 2nd.

Hi there, we are thinking of visiting Sri Lanka with our three children, 11, 10 and 6. Thinking of flying into Colombo for the day, then venture out. Not sure of what exactly to and do. Definitely want to sit by a nice beach for 3 days at some point, and want to see what LKA has to offer. Can you give me some tips and pointers? How much does a driver cost approximately? What are the 4-5 key points of interest to visit? Thanks in advance.

Depends what type of holiday you want. We travelled to Kandy area, ashburnham tea plantation, the Aliya Resort, near sigiriya. Then Uga Bay in passakuda, then on to Willapatu. Kids that age love water and swimming pools. HenCe. Uga bay and Alisa were fabulous. But travel to 4+ different places if you can . Tim
