Timothy est un guide passionné qui sait donner une panoplie d'informations sue la vie des animaux sauvages. Il prend aussi de magnifiques photos avec ses accessoires qu'il vous transmet ensuite. Donc, relaxez et profitez du spectacle!
Nous avons passé une journée dans le cratère du NgoroNgoro en famille avec notre enfant de 3 ans. La voiture était relativement confortable (limiter les bagages) et la conduite sécuritaire. Malgré que la route en voiture soit assez longue, Timothy nous proposait des arrêts fréquents pour dégourdir les jambes de nitre petit. Le spectacle des animaux est tout simplement extraordinaire. Je recommande Tarylin a 100%

This was my second time Safari with Timothy and it will never get old.
I will try to explain why you should go with Tarylin instead of any other company;
The passion and nolodge makes your trip so much better. The man is a walking encyclopedia.
Last year I did first a small trip with Tarylin and a couple of days later a long trip with another company.
I sort of was ruined because my experience with Timothy was so much better then the other one.
I was so spoiled with the trip I had with Tarylin that the other one wasn't that enjoyable anymore.
Do yourself a favour and get yourself the best.

Our guides picked us up at our doorstep - exactly at agreed upon time. The drive to the park was beautiful and Tarylin insured our comfort throughout the drive and safari. The guides were incredibly informative and accommodating, taking time to answer questions and move at a pace that was caring and respectful of the animals and environment - with expert knowledge of the plants, animals and land. We were able to use their fabulous binoculars and they even shared the photos they took (so I could just enjoy the safari, rather than spend time on taking photos),

Went on a beautiful safari to tarangire with tarylin. Guides were very knowledgeable so I learned a lot and got to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo and much more. Highly recommend

We had exciting safari to Lake Manyara and Tarangire Parks. Everything went well and we saw a lot of animals including leopard! Tim was very knowledgeable and you felt he loves animals and nature. His knowledge overwhelmed (in a positive way)...so impressive! Tim also did wonderful pictures with his professional camera and shared with us after all.
I truly recommend Tarylin Safaris!

We were very lucky to have seen such amazing animals in their natural habitat including the leopard in a tree, as requested! I hope the next time you come to visit the animals will be just as kind to appear exactly where we hoped they would be. Seeing so many lions in trees in Lake Manyara was very rare indeed and we can consider ourselves very lucky to have witnessed such a sighting!

Awesome two days with a lot of passion and spotting all rare animals, like for requests. Lion sleeping on the tree? Here you are. Jaguar? You are welcome. Tim’s big knowledge and love for animals makes the safari unique and professional. It’s like travelling with young David Attenborough. Highly recommended.

Tarylin is thoroughly pleased that you enjoyed your safari so much Milena. We were happy to have had such luck with the sightings that you left satisfied with all your dreams come true (even if the flamingoes could have been a little bit closer). Sadly Jaguars are only found in South America, the African equivalent is a leopard of which melanistic versions do exist though they are very rare. These are called black panthers and one was spotted recently in Kenya for the first time in a hundred years. Maybe on our next safari we can go and track the beautiful creature down.
On a personal note, thank you for saying that Timothy is like the young David Attenborough! I don't think he has ever received such a compliment in all his guiding years and such praise has put a big smile on his face.

Had a wonderful day with Freddie and Timothy at the crater. Saw all kinds of animals. His background in zoology helps make Timothy a wonderful source of information about the area and the wildlife.
We were actually at three different parks with Timothy and Freddie and stayed at Timothy’s lodge between each day trip. Saw the big 5 in the 3 days and enjoyed a beautiful camp in the evenings! Highly recommend Tarilyn Safari.

We had a great day driving round Tarangire, Tim was very professional and lead the tour very effeciently clearly very experienced. He also had plenty of knowledge on all the animals we came across and knew the best ways to find them, not to mention that the pack lunch that he gave us was amazing!!

Tarylin is a cool British guy who has lived in Africa for years guiding safaris. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and his genuine enthusiasm made for a fun day. Nice bonus - he takes pictures with a fancy camera and shares later on WhatsApp - no stress of trying to capture everything yourself.
The one day trip from tarangire was great. Tarylin picked up at hotel around 6 and dropped me back off after the safari around 7. The drive to tarangire is far but not that big a deal - I was worried a one day trip was cramming in too much but the safari was great. Tarangire is incredible. We saw two jaguars, lion, hundreds of elephants, Buffalo, mongooses and even a leopard tortoise. Tarylin seemed particularly knowledgeable about the birds - another nice bonus especially if birds are your thing. All in, great value, nice to support small business, great pics

Tarylin is a Tanzanian company who happens to be part owned by a nerdy British guy but thank you for your kind words Mike! We are thrilled you enjoyed the pictures and that we were able to teach you a thing about birds and highlight the smaller animal species that play an important role in the African ecosystem. Tarangire iNational Park, the home of elephants in Tanzania, is indeed a magical place and well worth visiting for anyone coming to Arusha for a day or two. At our first Trip to Nationalparks my Family and me, we experienced three fantastic days. During our 3-days Trip to Tarangire Nationalpark, Lake Manyara Nationalpark and Ngorongoro Crater we enjoyed a lot watching the Wildlife as well as the great landscape, which completely differs in all of these three parks. Every day, we have been impressed by the peaceful surrounding. Our guide Timothy kept this peaceful living of wildlife by not using radio, which we appreciated a lot. It gave us the chance to decide on our own where to rest and how long to spend at one place. That made our trip indiviual. Timothy also took pictures for us so that we could enjoy observing without thinking about the Camera all the time.
To enjoy most, our guide Timothy and his new trainee guide helped us by telling us great facts about different species of animals. It is unbelievable, how much knowledge they had and shared at the right time. The binoculars, Timothy brought for us, made it possible even to observe animals, which were very far away.
With the small vehicel we managed to reach most animals quite close, so that we could observe them very well. The driving has always been very careful and we felt absolutely save. In addition, Timothy Had a great Timing. He decided very Well, how Long our Safari should take and when to leave each Nationalpark.
For the night we stayed at Timothys' lodge, which is Not yet finished. We agreed that as soon as it will be finished, it will be one of the most lovely lodges. We enjoyed a great view on the Lake Manyara, a Camp fire and a great sunrise, there.
All in all, it was an amazing Trip, which we will never forget.

We are so pleased you enjoyed the peace and quiet that comes with not having a radio in the vehicle. Too often safaris turn into a "ferrari safari" in which we race from one radio sighting to another whereas without a radio, we are free to relax and enjoy our surroundings at our leisure. Tarylin much prefers to provide an overall holistic view of the ecosystem and the way that everything and everyone fits in together, including the bipedal ape that is humanity.
We are also very pleased that you enjoyed the surroundings of Tarylin Safari Lodge so much! We enjoyed your family singing songs around the campfire under the dazzling brilliance of the African night sky while the lions roared and the hyena giggled down below. A fantastic trip, the memories of which we hope you carry with you for a life time. But if you find yourself forgetting, feel free to come back anytime ;)
