This is a great brewery to visit snd I’d super conveniently located by the Arusha airport just between the Cultural Center and the Arusha Coffee Lodge. We stopped by after returning to Arusha and were glad we did. It’s one of only two craft breweries in Tanzania and the only one in Arusha. They take their brewing super serious and knock out everything from Pilsners to IPA’s - there’s normally a couple of year round brews supplemented by specials. While we were there we learned they have sent one of their local brewers to a brewery in Switzerland for further training. Everything is super clean and they also offer some basic bar food and have lots of merchandise on same. Twiga is a great little brewery and well worth a visit while you’re in town!

Stopped here during my Kilimanjaro trip and it was definitely worth it. This is the first brewery I've been to outside of the USA and it was awesome! Pretty decent beer selection in this area although IPA heavy. Very refreshing!
Everyone was so friendly and relaxed atmosphere, great vibes, just a place you want to be! Weird location outside but my first time to Tanzania and Africa, so not sure what else to expect.

My husband and I are beer people and we try to seek out craft breweries whenever we travel. I have to admit, I was not expecting to find craft beer in Tanzania but got a tip about this place so we sought it out one day while we were out exploring the city of Arusha. So glad we did. Good variety of beers (ale, ipa and even a stout). The brewmaster came out to talk to us and tell us more about what he's doing. It was a fun experience in a friendly, casual environment.

We had such a great experience at Twiga Brewery. The beer was amazing. They had a great ale and we also tried the IPA. The hops in the IPA were delicious.
The brewer was so nice to talk with us about his beer. We live in San Diego and love our craft beer. Everyone needs to try Twiga at the brewery

I was really excited to try Twiga Brewery based on some of the other reviews I had read. Twiga is located in a shopping mall which was kinda strange. The place was not busy when we arrived and we sat at the outdoor area. We were immediately mobbed by people from the nearby restaurants peddling their menus. Twiga only has two beer types, a Stout and an Ale and they were out of the Stout during our visit.
The prices are reasonable and they offer happy hour prices (buy 2 get the third free). We visited during happy hour and I didn't realize until after I left that I was charged for all three beers.
Glad I visited but it was just mediocre!

Have you ever taste a beer straight from the factory ,twiga brewpub is the only place in Arusha where you enjoy a classic Tanzania beer which is fresh and the taste is just incredible.I highly recommended this place for enjoyment in a long sunny day

stopped at the mall today for a bite with friends, I unexpectedly found this brewery! We had a couple flavors, a stout and a blonde, both were pretty good!
