My boy and I joined the express cooking class today to learn how to cook padThai and coconut chicken soup. It was a super great experience for both of us. We had so much fun. The host and staffs were very friendly to us. Highly recommended!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Absolutely fantastic - Inspiring to learn about fruit, plants in the wonderful garden - and very fun to cook the Thai food yourself afterwards - under Anya's expert guidance - Best we have tasted - Now it will be Thai food at home in Norway. Highly recommend Bamboo Thai Cooking 😁

Anya and her team provide an amazing Thai cookery course experience. The tour of her garden which was filled with fruit trees , herbs and flowers was informative and her passion for food shone through. The organisation of every cooking station was amazing. Anya has a marvellous team of assistants who provide each person with the exact ingredients for each dish and do all the washing up too!! Anyas instructions are very clear as she takes you through each step of the recipe . The time flew by and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the experience.

A great 4 hours was spent at this Thai Cooking school today. Easy to book online and prompt to reply to emails Anya runs a good operation here. There are about 5 women who help with ingredients/cleaning up and Anyas son was on hand to help keep us entertained and well watered.
Our group of 5 friends cooked Green Papaya salad, Pandan chicken and a Green curry from scratch. Delicious! To top it off we made sticky rice and mango for dessert. The morning started with an informative stroll through Anyas garden where she grows all the produce we cooked, making it organic. Anya also speaks and writes English fluently and is a wealth of knowledge.

Fabulous day with great tuition from Anya. The interesting garden tour, fantastic venue and Anaya’s professionalism shown throughout were all top class. Thanks again as team, we all learned a lot. Thoroughly recommend it.

Had a wonderful 4 hours learning about Thai cooking. Anya has an amazing garden which we explored. Thoroughly recommend, we were so well looked after and would go again next time we are in Hua Hin.

Everything was perfect ! From the walk into the garden to explain to us what kind of herbs there are, to the cooking demonstration and finally the degustation ! I recommend strongly !!

We had a fantastic time at the cooking class. We were picked up at our accommodation in Hua Hin by one of Anya’s team and taken to the class. We were warmly welcomed by Anya with delicious infused water as Anya explained what we’d be doing. We had a tour of her garden where she talked us through the herbs, fruits and vegetables she grows. We got to taste them and learn more how we could source them back home. When we started cooking everything was easy to follow and Anya and team were on hand to make sure we were at ease. We learnt how to adjust the dishes for our own tastes and made a paste, soup and curry on the express class. We also got to make coconut cream and milk. Anya is very warm and engaging and incredibly passionate about great ingredients and cooking. The dishes we made were all delicious and we’ll make them again when we’re home. This was the best experience we’ve had in Thailand. If you’re interested in learning more about Thai foods and cooking you’ll have a great time. Strongly recommended.

We have just spent a wonderful time with Anya and her lovely helpers. Different levels of experience within our group did not matter - we all had a great morning cooking amazing food. Anya is so enthusiastic and full of good cooking tips and advice. The tour of Anya's garden was fascinating - I will now try to grow lemon grass in the north of Scotland!

For children that young its best they join with an adult if you would like them to get some hands on experience cooking :)
The class is a bit long for some children and they may get distracted or get tired.

Will a 7 year old boy be able to participate?
Can the food be vegetarian?

No problem 7 year old children join the class all the time and I can easily adjust to vegetarian :)
