Went to the Thai border and the Golden triangle through this little place. Great day out with Chas our driver, 5 persons in a 4 wheel drive. Thoroughly enjoyed it, they are also a bar, so win win!

Great views, great guide, great experience!

We booked a last minute one day trekking tour with Coconut tours and we are so happy we did! This was a highlight of our time in Chiang Rai, our tour guide But took us to local villages, cooked us an amazing meal for lunch, and we visited a waterfall and hot spring at the end. We really enjoyed trekking through the bamboo forests and But made us souvenirs! We look forward to recommending this company to our friends and family who visit Chiang Rai and we hope to trek with them again.

Greatone day hike for a family

Great, involved guide. We went on a day trip private for our family of four in the surrounding mountains. We got a very good price offer, but that's not the most important thing. The guide was very involved, he talked interestingly. Our children are interested in nature, so he found various interesting animals and plants and described them. At the end, he took us around the places around Chiang Rai that we didn't manage to visit on other days and finally dropped us off at the airport late in the evening.

Having a grat time with the entire stuff. Got free food, and a grat time whith local people from Chiang Rai. Get sone drinks and the hospitality it’s just insane.

A days hiking tour with Mos and his trainee

Thank you once again for a very interesting and wonderful hiking tour together with our guides Mos and his trainee. Our hiking tour went up into the mountains. We had our first lunch stop were we had a very nice meal with family members. We also hicked upp to the Huaykaew Waterfalls to cool us with cold water from the falls. It was a very nice experience to be in the beautiful mountains of Dog Hang. We can strongly recommend this event. Thank you once again for a very nice hiking tour. Eva and John from Sweden.

We did two amazing one day tours with Ya from Coconut tours. Ya took us to beautiful places, off the beaten track and away from the crowds. He gave us space and time to enjoy our days, but was always there to guide us and answer our questions. We would highly recommend this tour company

One day trekking adventure

A fantastic day of trekking with an incredible guide, Mas, and his assistant Nai. Apparently we did about 12.5km on the hilly terrain (our legs were definitely feeling the burn at the end of the day). Incredible vistas, a memorable lunch at a hill tribe village and a brisk dip at the waterfall. I'm 40 years old, fairly fit and this trek pushed my limits. The heat, the steep terrain and the length of the journey made for a challenging adventure. I was glad to have good tennis shoes and a backpack with me. We were given 1 bottle of water each at the start of the trip and another after lunch. That seemed to be just the right amount for us. We missed the opportunity to go into the hotsprings at the end because we had a longer hike than normal. Although we would have loved to soak our weary muscles, we were totally satisfied at the end of the day. Again, Mas (sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong!) was an exceptional guide. Great English, great knowledge and all around fun guy. We would probably opt for a half day tour in the future because we felt satisfied by the trek after lunch. But we're soooooo glad to have had this experience!

The BEST tour operator we could have chosen

Small tour operator in the heart of Chiang Rai. You can almost miss them but you definetely should look out for them! It's also a cozy bar with welcoming service.
We booked a personal guide and the experience was great.
Everything was well planned, the 2 day trekking tour and hilltribe stay, Loy Krathong festivities and they even helped finding the best thai cooking class in Chiang Rai.

Great experience, would totally recommend Coconuts Tours

First of all, info provided vía email before and after booking was good. Our choice was a day tour to white temple, blue temple, black house, tea plantation, doi tung and golden triangle. Optionally, we changed the cruise on the Mekong River for a car ride on the boarder with Myanmar, with very nice views and trial of local coffee.
Our tour guide, Ya, was on time at our hotel. He was very informative during the whole day, making our different stops worth it. At the same time, he also let us our time on our own to walk around, but he was always close or easy to find nevertheless, just in case. He made sure we had vegetarian food at a local restaurant, as we requiered.
We were together from 8 am untill 18.30 pm, and It was a great day.
We would definately repeat our experience and recommend It to anyone.
