I did 2 days of diving with Andy's scuba diving. From start to finish I had a seamless experience. Jon was my guide, a true instructor through and through. Jon was informative regarding the dives and the how-tos for the boat. I had done about 45 dives prior to this, I am thankful that Jon was constructive regarding teachable moments and allowed me to practice a few skills (inflating the safety sausage). We went to the Phi Phi islands and one dive had quite a current, Jon gave great instructions and description of what to expect. Jon helped me along and made me feel comfortable. We got so lucky during our dives and saw also many things, the highlight an encounter with a leopard shark that came so close as if it wanted to be pet. We did not pet it lol. The boat crew members were helpful and the food was delicious and plentiful. Memories that will last a life time!

They will give you a very personal experience. I went with Andy, for 2 days and the diving was incredible. He is very easygoing going, organized. I will recommend for sone with no experience or a lot of experience. The equipment is very new and the boat trip gives very good service too.

My teenage son was looking to get his open water diving license, and I was after a refresher course (after not diving for 20 years) - Jon and Lisa couldn't have offered a better experience.
Jon matches his teaching style to fit the experience level of the diver, and knew just how to make the diving enjoyable, whilst ensuring we covered all the course work. Got him to take some photos for us as well, and they turned out great.
Recommendations from Lisa on where to stay matched what we wanted perfectly.
Couldn't recommend Andy's enough! Best group to go with if you're diving in Phuket!

An excellent professional dive operator. I have been with Andy Dive twice now and on each occasion it was fantastic. Lisa in the office is most helpful with any questions and is fluent in English. Angel who dived with me is a patient friendly dive buddy. We did wrecks, saw amazing schools of fish and even swam with sharks. I thoroughly recommend Andy Dive for great underwater adventures.

Through a local scuba-diver’s recommendation, we arranged a Nitrox course and dive day through Andy’s Scuba Diving.
From start to finish all was planned with a superb dive instructor and guide for the three dive sites.
Super-friendly at the home base, logistics to/from the dive boat and a top quality instructor that measured our relative experience levels to ensure a smooth set of dives. Hands on support for the Nitrox course admin so all was managed without fault.
Would not look anywhere else for a quality dive day and will be back for more.

Thanks to the team at Andy's Scuba Diving for a great day's diving in challenging weather conditions! Angel is a credit to the team, making the diving experience, fun, safe and relaxing; adjusting the dives not only for the current and conditions, but for diver skill level.
The surface weather was a real challenge (big swells, and strong winds), but the team from Andy's made sure everyone was confortable and cared for the whole trip.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a trustworthy dive operator in Phuket.

I've been wanting to complete my Open Water Course for so long and while on holiday with my family Andy's Scuba Diving was recommended! I got in contact with Lisa who is just the best, and she took me through all I needed to know for setting up my scuba training course with speedy responses and a friendly touch. I didn't think it'd be so easy to learn but with my instructor Jon, it was a walk in the park (or sea!). He was friendly and very patient and made it so I picked it up with no trouble at all. I learnt surrounded by the most amazing aquatic animals, its an experience that everyone should have the pleasure of enjoying. I wouldn't go anywhere else to complete my AOW other than here!

I went on holiday with family and for my 18th birthday I wanted to complete my AOW. Andy’s Scuba Diving had been recommended to us and it didn’t fail to impress. The whole team were friendly and made me feel welcome and safe. My instructor was Sam who was great and had lots of patience with me. We got to see lots of fish a Moray Eel, Lion Fish and more. The best birthday present I could have wished for. Thank you, we will be back.

What can I say? Brilliant experience from start to finish! Lisa and Jon are a fabulous couple who, paired with their team at Andy’s deliver a fabulous experience that will be a memory forever! From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you are made to feel comfortable and safe. I am personally a little scared of deep water, and if it wasn’t for Jon’s calm and assuring persona I don’t think I would have managed a dive at all and I will be forever grateful for that! We practised in their pool beforehand so we could get used to the equipment and to ensure we were able to breathe properly, Jon was so patient it was unreal! He had myself and my husband swimming like professional divers in no time!!
The boat trip was more than we expected! The team couldn’t do enough for you on! Such a lovely, friendly bunch that make you feel at ease straightaway :)
We intend on going back to Thailand and one of the first stops we will be making is Rawai so we can team with Lisa, Jon and experience this all over again!!
Huge thanks to you guys from myself and Tobias! See you again soon!!!

I highly recommend choosing Andy’s diving to complete your qualification. Lisa was beyond amazing i messaged her several times from the UK with questions as I had no experience of scuba diving beforehand and her responses were quick and informative.
My instructor Angel was very knowledgable and made me feel comfortable during the whole course. He explained everything and was very clear so I knew exactly what was going to happen during each dive.
You will not be disappointed if you choose to book with Andy’s I am already looking at booking my advanced open water with them in the future. They are 10/10.

Hello Lisa,, so for the diving we need to take course ? How many days it’s take because we will stay in Phuket only for 3 days !! Please let me know if there is possible to go diving without course .. thank u

You can complete a Discover Scuba Dive program for 2 or 3 dives in one day - it's only if you wish to become a certified diver, you will need to complete the Open Water Course :)

How much did your open water dive cost? Online pricing just shows for the whole open water certification course but my husband only needs the open water test out like you did.

It's Lisa here, the owner of Andy's Scuba Diving :) You'll find at the bottom of the Open Water page a link to the Open Water referrals page which lists the various costs depending what you need to complete on your Open Water course - so for you husband if he just needs to complete the 4 Open Water dives then the cost will be 10900thb which gives him 6 dives over 2 days.

We are traveling to Phuket during last week of Jan. Do you have day trips with snorkelling for 12 adults? As everyone won’t do snorkelling and just what to explore more islands that includes phi phi. How much it would cost for one or for all. We are ok with separate boat or to join other groups.

There are so many day trips you can book for 12 people snorkeling while in Phuket. When you are walking around you will find an overload of tour stands that you can book through. HINT - Bargain the price they first give you! Especially for a large group, they will give it to you for less than the listed price.
I scuba dive and my husband snorkels. So when I book dive tours, I make sure he is on the same boat as me but gets a cheaper price because he will only be snorkeling.
When booking make sure to ask - how many people on the boat, what is included, any extra fees for pick up/drop off, if you're diving ask if they are PADI certified.

Hi, I and my partner would be visiting Phuket from 9 to 13 feb 2018 (Flights booked, hotel yet to be). I was wondering for 1 day scuba diving with Andys. My concern is, it 'll be our first time experience with diving; also, my partner can't swim. How can you guys help me out?? and what would be charges for it?
